Lovely deco, friendly and funny staff, attentive and competent and the food was outstanding!! We left the Redcastle hotel to eat here and it did not disappoint! Really enjoyed and a perfect end to our short break in Ireland

Had a brilliant time at the Point Inn. The first waiter we had in particular was excellent, absolutely hilarious with a great sense of humour and very helpful. The other waiter was great also. I couldn't believe how cheap the Southern Fried Burger was so...I expected the quality to be poor but it was the best chicken burger I've ever had.(only cost €10) In Dublin it would cost you €30-€40 for that kind of quality. Very cosy atmosphere with an open fire, and watched the Man City match. Had a great bottle of Heniken and a lovely Fudge cake also. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED,a MUST TRY.More

The Sunday roast is unreal and the sticky toffee pudding is the best I’ve ever had in my life. The menu is such value for money

Have never eaten here before but must say the steaks were excellent. We would highly recommend. Staff were friendly and efficient. Toilets were spotless and the decor in the place itself is fresh clean and welcoming. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is the...music is too loud and seems to be working off one speaker so maybe an idea to install a sound system or just turn it down. But once again the steaks were amazing.More

First time since before lockdown (5.5 months) at the Point Inn (and first time out for a meal in that time). Worth waiting on. Excellent food and service. Best spot around for a decent Sunday dinner. Looking forwards to next meal there soon.

On arrival we were greeted by a man who advised to wait outside where we ordered a round of drinks and as our booking time approached 2 members from the party of 16 enquired about the booking and an older man claimed the booking should...never have been taken as the younger girls “didn’t know what they were doing” he got aggressive, extremely hostile and rude and as a member of the party commented that he was being aggressive with a distinct distasteful and rude attitude he flung his arm in the air and said “fine your booking is cancelled” , extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with this service, appalling customer service.More

We found The Point Inn on Google whilst finishing up a day fishing realising we were too hungry to make the drive home. Thank you Google because we were blown away. Everything was so delicious that we had to try each others and I'm sure...everyone heard the constant noises of satisfaction. The soup, brucheta, nachos / Louisiana burger n stack and the buster burger all unreal. Perfectly cooked, great value, superb portion sizes and seasoned well. The atmosphere was very comfy and the service first class, we felt welcomed and the staff not only had a friendly manor but we're top class at making a fusy customer very happy customising a meal with no bother. We left stuffed, happy and looking forward to the next time because we definitely will be back.More

Not usually necessary at lunchtime but maybe safer to book for evenings especially if a large party.
