Had a fabulous dinner with friends for my husbands birthday, food and service was top class. Our table was brilliant as it was really social distanced from other (we were delighted with this as it was our first visit to a restaurant since lockdown)
Booked Lizzie for our evening meal as we had been warned to as otherwise we would be disappointed.
It’s a cafe restaurant and serves food all day.
I had been told they are well know in the area for their stakes so I was looking...forward to going.
We booked for 8.30 and were warmly greeted on arrival.
I am very fussy about how I like my stake cooked, just off blue and said to the unsuspecting waitress that if it was not right it would be going back she was not fazed at all and said it would not be an issue, by the way my wife loves all things fish and ordered the Sea Bass.
The starter we chose was the King prawn and calamari and very good it was too.
The mains arrived and looked fantastic the waitress ask me to cut into my stake to make sure it was cooked to my requirement(a first for me and a sign of confidence), It was perfect in fact it was most likely one of the best stakes I have ever had, it was superb and the Sea bass my wife had was perfect as well.
By the way the stake was a 9oz Fillet and at 23euro all in was fantastic value as well.
The Cafe is not fussy it’s simple it trades on its quality of food and the inspiring staff.
Lizzies you have done Dunfanaghy and Donegal proud.More
We have eating here a couple of times in the last month.Food is very good and the service is excellent. In these strange times there is good social distancing and the staff all wear masks .Makes for a very safe feeling
We had a gorgeous evening meal a few days ago. We were in a party of six and we all had a lovely meal. Chelsea served us and was very attentive and extremely friendly. We had eaten in Lizzie's Diner two years ago and did...not hesitate in returning. We were not disappointed. Great selection and delicious food. Highly recommended.More
We arrived mid week after a drive in the area looking for a place for a family meal. The food was excellent with a good choice in the menu. The staff were very friendly and service was very good.
Definitely will be back.

Sorry but I do not think so
I would recommend the early cooked breakfast or sea food chowder with wheaten bread and panninis with salad and filled potato skins
Not stylishish but food well prepared.... Christine b
