This is a really good place to eat. Or just to have a drink on the terrace and soak in the stunning scenery.

We only had a cup of tea but it was good tea, reasonably priced and the view was impressive! The filled rolls looked very tempting but we were planning a big dinner out later and resisted!

Lovely lunch, amazing views and good service! Really nice selection of both savoury and sweet treats. Avoca is always a family favour, this location definitely lives up to the brand.

We popped up today after checking out of hotel. Had coffee and cake. Neither of the cakes were freshly made today and we were disappointed but didn't complain as we'd had a lovely weekend break and didn't want to finish on a low....I just won't get cake again on a Monday . Coffee was good as was the small lunch...but... More

the café was busy with young couples, ladies chatting over cream teas and the usual hum of people eating and enjoying the experience. From the assortment of food available, we had a soup and salad which was filling and tasty. The soup came with a moist Guinness bread ..Yum. Salads had lovely dressing which ensured not a leaf was left... More

Really nice, pleasant and comfortable restaurant. Enjoyed coffee and scones after an interesting and uplifting walk in the grounds of Powercourt House.

The Terrace Cafe is located within the Powerscourt House. Service is fast, the selection is great and the prices are reasonable. A great place to grab breakfast or lunch...or a hot chocolate! And the view can't be beat!

I stayed at the Powerscourt and ate breakfast here each morning. They had hearty meals (eggs, breakfast meat) to pastries and fruit. I enjoyed coffee while overlooking the gardens. There is both inside and outside seating - both were enjoyable, just depends on weather.

My wife and I called in November 2016. It was bitterly cold outside but there were still people about. We called into the restaurant for a tea while we waited for the rain to stop before venturing out. The staff were efficient. While in there we stayed on for soup, sandwiches and then cake, it rained for a long time!... More
