I recently attended The Sugar Loaf Lounge with 3 friends for afternoon tea and we had a lovely time. The afternoon tea is very good value for money and the atmosphere is very relaxing and enjoyable. Our waiter Martin made our afternoon even more enjoyable as he was very helpful and attentive not just to us but to everyone else... More

Treated a few friends to dinner and drinks because I heard good things about this place. There was a pianist present on the night which gave a pleasant and jazzy atmosphere to the place. On the down side I'm afraid the service was slow and it took a long while to get the bill. Nice food all the same....

This airy lounge in the lobby of the Powerscourt Hotel is a nice place to enjoy a warming fire and cocktail.

Had afternoon tea with my wife and daughter here as part of our weekend break and it was very good. Excellent range of sumptuous sandwiches served and a delicious arrangement of scones cream and jam to finish off. The view from the Lounge if you can get a central window table just sets the tone and atmosphere for your lunch... More

I love this restaurant. It's better than the fine dining restaurant in hotel. The wine by the glass is limited and, bad. But the wines by the bottle are reasonably priced. They get a lot of kids, so book in advance, and ask for a table in the bar area.

I came here for the afternoon tea a few weeks ago. Everything was lovely and all enjoyed with a gorgeous view of the gardens and Sugarloaf Mountain. WIll definitely be back the next time I feel I need a treat.

I had been to the Sugar Loaf Lounge when it was operated by Ritz Carlton and was looking forward to returning for an evening out with some friends. The setting is still lovely and the staff are extremely attentive. The food however left a lot to be desired. I would understand if there had been an issue with one dish... More

Beautiful views from this lounge and good cocktails. The only criticism was that service was a bit slow but mostly very nice polite and friendly staff.

Well worth a visit, the staff are very friendly and proffessional. We had a few meals here at the weekend. The food is very good. Will definitely be visiting again very soon.
