Very good food, with interesting menu. Wood pigeon and venison were excellent. Pannacota well balanced for dessert. Service is somehow eager to please but lacking style. New waitress could not properly explain options in dessert menu. Asking every 3 min on how is everything is also a bit intrusive for me anyways.

The breakfast buffet at this restaurant never disappointed. The service seems continuous, since the original waitstaff assigned to your table was always supplemented by others who were always available and would bring you what you needed. It was great to start each day with such positive experiences that the rain never dampened our outlook. We loved it!!

Wonderful extremely helpful staff & delicious food both at dinner or breakfast...just terrific! They all went out of their way to make each & every dining experience memorable! Don't miss the chocolate bombe if you go there for dinner or just go for dessert, it is fabulous!

As part of our stay in the beautiful Powerscourt Hotel we had dinner in the Sika Restaurant. Excellent service, nothing was too much of a problem. Food was really good and a amazing wine list. Looking forward to returning!

We had dinner on Friday night at the Sika restaurant. The menu is deceptively simple. It more than delivers, with some wonderful flavours and looks. We had the pleasure of being well looked after by our Italian waiter, who kept us feeling happy, relaxed and guided us where needed in terms of drinks pairing. This was a highlight, a pleasant... The Sika breakfast buttet, with hot and cold foods, is extensive. It is populated with fruits, grains, cereals, pasties, breads, eggs, meats, dairy, and drinks. There was no posting showing how much breakfast cost. I indulged myself. The charge was on my checkout statement. 28 euro! More than twice what other establishments charged. Dinner at the upstairs lodge with wine... More

Breakfast doesn't come cheap here at almost €30 per person. The question is, is it worth it? First off all staff I've met here are very friendly and helpful. There is free WiFi here if you need it. There is a huge selection of hot and cold food for the buffet breakfast. Choose between scrambled, boiled or fried free range... More

After reading the review on 21st Jan I was a bit apprehensive about eating in Sika. Boy was that review wrong. The standard of food was extremely good and well presented. I had the Chicken and my husband had the Venison, it was so good we booked again 2 days later. When we checked in we were just chatting to... More
