Byrnes's came highly recommended by our host at The Station House. It did not disappoint! Really cute interior filled with vintage antiques and collectables. Warm cozy wood tables and stone walls. Lovely chef driven menu. And, of course, no meal in Ireland is without their...wonderful bread.More

We had a meal here which was delicious. The wait staff was very pleasant and efficient. Food was great, with Irish fare or more continental choices. We sat inside, but had a nice view of the falls. The restaurant itself is unusual in that in...the front are numerous vintage type items and artifacts. It’s right on the Main Street of the town so hard to miss.More

Excellent food, maybe a little bit expensive! We enjoyed the outdoor lounge across the river. Wee tried fish, meat and a vegetarian dish and all of them were delicious. The staff is very friendly and dogs are allowed (in the lounge).

We ate off the set menu; enjoyed the seafood chowder. The chicken mains was also good, but not as per the menu. Overall, the quality was good, and the price was decent. View of the waterfalls was excellent. Didn't see "My Lovely Horse"!

We had a great family dinner in Byrne’s restaurant. We had a group of 13 people and the space was wheelchair-friendly. The food was really tasty, with large portions and great value. They had a set menu which was ideal for a large group dinner....They also had Guinness on tap and a good drinks selection. The staff were exceptionally friendly and didn’t rush our very slow group. They even brought us extra ice cream to share at dessert. The location over the falls is stunning as well. I’ll definitely return to Byrne’s again soon.More

Went here in the strength of trip advisor but were pretty disappointed. Great location overlooking a small waterfall. Have had pub food since we got to Ireland and wanted to fancy it up one day. They have a fixed price for dinner 30 euro for...2 courses (mandatory), 35 for 3, etc. We had sirloin that was stringy and hard to chew and chicken that was unforgivably dry. Everything under seasoned. Potato pave delicious (with seasoning). Duck spring roll food (one). Onion soup good. Seafood chowder gloppy but good.More

What a lovely resturaunt and conor himself is such a good host.. We made a last Minute booking the night before and conor for back to me straight away to confirm.. The setting is fab surrounded by interesting antiques and bits and pieces. The food...was amazing.. A simple short menu €32 pp for three courses is such good value.. Pork belly to start which my hubbie said was amazing.. We both had cod which cooked to perfection and served with cresmy mash and rustic veg.. Delicious! Desert was a choc fondant which was devine and I had the tiramisu.. Also delicious.. Conor supplied the birthday candles and we suitably embarrassed hubbie 😳 wine choice was also simple but really good sav. Blanc. Overall this was the best place we've eaten in Awhile.. Highly recommend.. Thank you conor.. Long may u continue to thriveMore

It is a total experience. In the restaurant you are surrounded by things that you can buy from the vintage shop on the premises. But the food is the star of the show. The bread for the table was homemade and very very tasty. My...cousin got the pork belly starter and it looked amazing. She was raving about it and the dressing on the salad was delicious. I got cod for the main. Cod is my least favourite fish but this was totally delicious. I got the tiramasu for dessert. It was OK but too like cake. The chocolate fondant was a real hit with my friends. So I will try that thr next time.More

This restaurant is a MUST if you’re passing through Ennistimon. It’s on the river with a stunning terrace. I imagine that would be gorgeous in the summer. The staff are wonderful, the food was unbelievable. I recommend the steak. And if you’re veggie, then the...mushroom soup is delicious and the Dahl too! The atmosphere of the place was also so warm and welcoming with live music too. I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone. It made three girls from London very happy. Big thanks to Connor who made our evening super special!More
