We did not stay at the castle but toured the grounds. Beautiful and peaceful. The lake surrounding the property is gorgeous as well.

The Fig Tree Restaurant is wonderful. Food is perfectly prepared and locally sourced. The pan sauteed hake is delicious. The service is exactly the same throughout the Dromoland Hotel - better than Ritz Carlton!

Dining here you will experience the elegance of eating in a castle . The food was excellent and there were many choices . All the servers, in all of the rooms - main dining room, The Fig Tree and the fireplace rooms- were very pleasant.

We visited for supper this week and for tea the following day. On both occasions we had delightful food and great service from all the staff. It was worth spending a little more for such quality, service and ideal surroundings

Terrible High tea . 44 euro and you got soggy sandwiches and cakes that were probably bought from somewhere else. Very average and over rated. Don’t bother

I can not remember exactly but I did it as a treat at the end of our holiday. There were 5 of us and it was great value and did not hurt the wallet too much.

Sorry, I didn't do the afternoon tea. I went on a carriage ride around the Castle which was fabulous!
