Despite the large signs advertising food all day and good recent reviews on Tipadvsior, was told no food, not sure what's going on.

Called here on Sunday for lunch. No food being served even though signs outside said food all day. Disappointing. B

We went in here at 3 PM on a Sunday afternoon and managed to get a very tasty meal, reasonably priced and with great service. The menu was small but offered options most people would have no problem finding to their liking. We were both...impressed.More

On the rate occasion when family are together we go to the Fivealley Inn for dinner. I love this place because it reminds me of home. The food is class and the staff are brilliant. Thanks to Shona and Jenny who looked after us with...excellent service and complements to the chef . We will be back again soon.A little gem between Birr and Kilcormac on the way to Tullamore. Check it out 😃More

We called on Saturday afternoon at about 2 o'clock for lunch. There was a choice of beef or chicken as the dish of the day and also a good selection of other dishes from the menu. As we didn't have a lot of time to...delay, we both went for the beef. We were so happy that we had chosen this dish, as the meat was so tender and was served with creamy mashed potatoes and fresh veg. It was piping hot and I also got a huge portion of lovely crispy chips. The young lady who served us was very efficient and helpful. Really clean place. The restrooms were spotless. I would recommend the food here and look forward to calling again soon.More

I have visited this Restauarant on a regular basis but on my latested visit I was very dissapointed to see standards have slipped which on previous visits had been very good, on arrival and being seated we were approached by a waitress and informed by...her that they had no printed menu she read out a list from her head, hard to choose from this as I like to go over the menu with time to consider my options. Having made our choice the first course arrived (Garlic Mushrooms) consisting of four small mushrooms and the smallest amount of salad I have ever seen on a plate the main course followed was an improvement but still sparse, for two courses we were charged €38..00 for two people good profit considering indgredients used. I cannot see us using this Restaurant again despite staff being friendly and helpful.More

We had our Daughters christening at The Fivealley Inn in August. I cannot thank Teresa, Shane and all the staff for such a perfect day. We had 45 people sit for a 4 course meal. I could not have been happier with the food and...the service. All the little details were exceptional and created a day we will never forget! They had a great live band on that night and everyone was on the dance floor! We had also booked a room for the night , the room was spotless, the beds were comfy & the power shower was amazing! The full Irish breakfast the next morning was just the cure. Again many thanks for making our Daughters day so special.More

I visited this restaurant last Monday with my sister and elderly mother. When we complained about the food we were told that the food was fine and nothing wrong with it. Eventually they did change it but not without grumbling. When we had paid for...the meal we were told to f***k out and don't come back. Never will.More
