We spent a lovely afternoon in Kelly's Bar with our doggy, having a few pints and then some food. The pints were fab, we had soup and fish and chips which were gorgeous and Catherine made us feel so very welcome, we will definitely be...back. It's hard to find truly doggy friendly places in Ireland but this is definitely one that we would recommend. 10 out of 10 Kelly's, well done!More

Since the place we were staying it had no restaurant we decided to head to Kelly’s for dinner. We had to walk through the bar section to get to the restaurant sector, which was quite busy, small and dark. We were not comfortable going through...it with the people pressing in on us on either side.....when we found the restaurant section, it was much more spacious.. food was average...drinks reasonable..More

We went to Kelly's bar for an evening meal on our second day staying in Birr. Food was beautiful, fish and chips was cooked better than you'd find in any coastal area in the country. Service was efficient, staff were really friendly and hospitable. Price...was really good too.More

Ate here with a few friends recently and we had a super evening. The staff were all friendly and helpful, service was great, and our food was delicious. The Cajun chicken burger had a proper spicy kick to it, delicious! . We would happily return...next time we’re in town.More

Now this was a nice surprise. A nice pub, very clean. Staff ver friendly and friendly and helpful. But most important of all of all the food was yummy. Went to Kelly's because of the great food reviews it gets ,we walked in at 6:45 asked for table for 2 for food we were told we could sit wherever we liked and would we like a drink which would be brought too our table...we ordered drinks sat down and waited for menus our drinks were given too us and we were asked would we like to pay for them when we said we wud pay for drinks with food bill we were told food was finished since 6:30 .Can not understand why we were not told this when we distinctly asked for food when we walked in very misleading very disappointingMore

Staff were very nice and the pasta was excellent, would travel from Dublin for that alone.. 5star!!!

Called into Kelly's for tea time drinks and food. Very friendly atmosphere, Catherine behind bar was extremely pleasant and sorted our seats near the fire. The food was really tasty and "hit the spot" well worth a visit.

Party of Four, had dinner this evening 29/09/2021. From the Steak Sandwich to the Vol au Vents to the Burger to the Fish it was outstanding. Best fish she ever had was all we kept hearing!! Our wonderful server Caitriona is a credit to the...business, very friendly and chatty and anything we asked for was no problem. Stopped by on spec late Tuesday evening..just ordered barfood ..full menu available even at that late hour ..it was the meal of our holiday.lovely service and beautiful food .will be back and will spread the word.thank you for a lovely evening
