Stayed for 3 nights in August, I did not realised there’s no bar or restaurant on the premises, as they were closed.....we were standing outside the door for 45 minutes when we arrived, trying to gain access. Rooms were clean, but we did find someone’s...personal item in one of the bedroom lockers drawers, not a great indication of a room cleaned. We had a walk in shower, my friends next door had a very small en-suite. The Bed was comfortable, but way too heavy duvet for the time of year, and it was that or a sheet....we had to tick off from a list for breakfast, decided to go for full Irish first morning. Sausages were not eatable, as very fatty, poor quality as were the black and white pudding!! My toast tasted funny and I thought it was the bread, but after trying different bread each morning I-realised it was the butter.. it was gone off in the heat, as was the milk. It was the same each morning! The following 2 mornings I just had the scramble eggs and mushrooms, which were tasty enough.More
