We were served very quickly by a friendly server, and was delighted. menu was nice and we ordered chicken goujon and chips and sandwiches and chips. Food came promptly (2 adults+2 kids), and we dug in, but the chips were horrendous. I had never tasted such tasteless chips ever. They were also hard. The rest were OK, but the chips... More

Came here on recommendation of a co-worker, and I'm glad I did so. The service was friendly and the fish n chips was excellent. One of the best I've had.

Stopped there for two days. Ate there and had drinks. Big castle next door (Bunratty) with lots of activities. This is a must stop while in Ireland.

Best pub in the area for good atmosphere for locals and tourists. Good food and beer within a characterful old building with a real sense of place.

The perfect spot for a bite to eat after spending a couple of hours touring the Bunratty Castle and Folk Park ... chowder was perfect ... and free fizzy water on tap! Service was top drawer as well.

Whenever we are in Ireland - we make the trip to Durty Nelly's for a meal. This past December we ate there at least three times during out stay. It is usually pretty busy in the evenings but the staff are so kind and they worked hard to find a place for our group of six. Great Irish pub ambiance... More

This is THE pub to visit. It's very busy filled with locals. Music late at night--after my bedtime. It's a bright yellow historic building you can't miss. Try the fish and chips, an ample serving.

The best fun evenings were had here. Enjoying the regulars, laughing, singing, drinking and the food is really good as well. This will always be a favourite of mine when I visit Ireland. The story of Nelly, makes it part of history.
