Ate here with a group of friends. Very well done regarding social distancing. The place was very well kept, nice and clean. All meals were very nice. Will definitely be back

Dropped in on my way back from Kilkee. Have eaten here before and found it good. Today's experience was not so good. Burger for me, chicken burger for her. Alarm bells started ringing when our meals were served about 4 minutes after we ordered. My...burger was ok... if I was paying eight or ten euro for it. It certainly wasn't a €16.90 burger! Frozen chips and a nice portion of salad and coleslaw. The chicken burger was not good. Let's leave it at that. Staff were friendly, the restaurant is very nice and adhered to all the current co-vid 19 guidelines.More

Food was nice here and a great pint of Guinness. Got a few funny looks maybe because I wasn’t a local.

Would select somewhere else next time. Staff were friendly but not particularly competent - a number of items were not available on the small menu not informed prior to looking only when ordering. No condiments provided, no one checked in had to find staff to...provide same. Took asking 3 different staff members for the bill when trying to leave. Food was ok but would consider it to be worth the cost.More

The service is very good but the food is not the best, I had tempura prawns as starter and duck as main. The duck was very basic nothing special and the honey sauce on the top not the best as well as the presentation of...the plate.More

I can't thank Sharon, Paul, Maurice Fergus and the rest of the staff of Durty Nelly's for making our wedding day so special. Our private dining room was only spectacular , so quaint and beautifully decorated. Our private outdoor area was also beautiful and we...loved the wedding arch provided for photos. Our surroundings were only perfect for photos with the owengarney river and Bunratty castle in the background. Our meal was amazing service was prompt and food was hot. Just beautiful. Paul and Fergus looked after us all evening so our guests could relax and enjoy the music. Great staff great atmosphere great food and made feel special for our entire day. Couldn't have asked for more. A perfect setting for an intimate occasion...... Thank you again from Trina and JasonMore

My wife and I ( a couple in our 60's)have just had something to eat here. The person who showed us to our table had no personality. The barman who took our order barely spoke. My wife ordered the chicken and mushroom vol-au-vent. There wasn't...a mushroom to be seen. While we were eating somebody who seemed to know the staff stood about 10 feet away from us and began ripping into Dubliners over the Covid situation. He proceeded to announce that we (yes we are from Dublin). Should all f¥#k off back to Dublin. The two staff members agreed with him even though they must have known by our accents that we were Dubs. ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL. If it wasn't for the amount of Dubliners on Staycations and spending their money, there would be a lot more places closing down. These people need to cop on to that and the owner needs to do some ass kicking. I used to frequent Nellys when I worked in Shannon but I will never set foot inside it again after this.More

I believe they can seat 50 but this most likely will be outside, so you very much depend on the weather. Please also note that restaurants in Ireland generally close early. Better call them directly and check if they can... More
