Had lunch here on St Patricks day. Had no booking (eek!) for restaurant but were told 'not a problem', given a table and told could spend as long as we wanted there. I had a prawn pil-pil starter and my partner black pudding, goats cheese and bacon salad, both very generous portions. For mains we had cod & chips and... More

I've never gotten a bad meal here and it can be difficult to get a table on a Friday or Saturday night. Sunday afternoons can also be difficult. But worth the effort. Good pint too, and the seat beside the fire is cosy on a cold day.

We had Sunday lunch in the bar here. Not very busy so service was prompt. My husband had the Metalman Beer battered Cod and chips accompanied by a pint of Guinness and I had the mussels. Both dishes were gorgeous. Fresh, tasty and full of flavour. Portion sizes are perfect too. Only downside was the sauce the mussels were in... More

our family of 4 adults were all delighted with the food and service with the roast beef excellent and the mussels more than one could consume, while the two steaks were tender. Desserts delicious. Coffee and drinks completed a lovely meal. We will be back.

A group of friends and I shared an evening wining and dining at The Vic in September on my visit to Tramore. The food is great, selection vast, and the drinks and atmosphere make up the chilled out local pub atmosphere.

WE HAD A LATE DINNER UPSTAIRS WITH A LARGE GROUP We had a late dinner upstairs with a large group; service was great, and the nightly specials were good, great value. Nice wine list. Can definitely recommend and will return again soon.

Up the hill from the main promenade is the "Victoria House" known localy as the Vic. Seating over 3 floors (Restaurant upstairs) and my favorite beer garden in Tramore overlooking the whole strand. Great on a summers day. Beer selection consists of the usual suspects, a good range of Metalman (Pale, Equinox and a rotational tap) and a smaller rotational... More

Loved the old pub. It was very big with a restaurant, out door patio and 3 floors of pub. The staff were welcoming and let us try some different beers to help us decide which ones we would like. We settled on Franciscan Wells and the local beer Metalman, both very good. We ate fish and chips and chicken and... More
