Had yet another fantastic meal in the pine rooms....a private room for 9 of us too. The crab salad, duck leg and carrot and fennel soup started the night after our excellent cocktails and appertifs! Mains featured a hake special and the obligatory fillet steak for my husband. All delicious and perfectly cooked. Our server for the evening was Aysha... More

Arrived in time for the Early Bird Special. The special had a varied offering which all in our party of 5 found something appealing. It was a busy night and the room was a little cramped and a party of 4 opted to leave because of it.

First time for me to dine since new management took over.Great Dinner prawn starter with chorizo delicious as was the salmon and chicken dish. Dessert of tart and ice cream and berrry pannocota with honeycomb so tasty. Accompanied by 2 good Vinos . Great service and a tour of the environs. Garden beautifull. Will be back.

Booked a table for between half 6 and 7 pm for 5 got a weird look when arrived apparently early at 6.40. Orders were taking by lovely waitress and that's when the good experience ended. Waited over an hour and 15 for our mains ( in which one of our party members cancelled his order and left as he waited... More

Hi - thanks for your feedback - our apologies that the night was not as you wished - as you may have noticed on the night we had to close our doors ( reason for the strange look perhaps but you were booked) due to the demand ( 40 customers turned away) - we had expected a quiet night -... More

Firstly, service was gentle and charming by 2 ladies taking care of us.amazing starters for both of us, beautiful presentation, best chips Ever with main course, and really lovely deserts. All this and a peroni... More

My husband and I stopped by for a late Saturday afternoon lunch. We had been many times during two previous owners, but this was our first visit with the current owners. Trish and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a really lovely meal, everything served piping hot and excellent use of fresh herbs and seasoning. Superb really... More

I visited the Pine Rooms under the new management and had a delightful gourmet experience. The staff we extremely friendly and attentive. I had the Crispy Duck for started on a bed of beetroot salad and grapefruit which really complimented the duck. The chef Malcolm then sent a taster of crab and haddock- to die for and a great gesture... More

We went in on a whim as it was close to our hotel and the menu looked great. The food turned out to be sublime! Fresh, local produce and great friendly service. The mains were only topped by the desserts which were out of this world! The panna cotta is the best I've ever tasted.

We stopped at the The Pine Rooms because the menu looked good and the house looked cozy. Little did we know how amazing the food would be! I got a seafood soup and my husband got the ribs. We were both beyond pleased at the meal and presentation. The menu is was clearly marked for items that were gluten free... More
