Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great coffee and scones! The sun has shone out the front each time I have visited. ☀️ Lots of locals visit here which is a great sign!

We popped in for a coffee. Mind some of the food offerings did look lovely. Nice range of takeaway food items. Pleasant shop Coffee was adequate. Outdoor seating only. Everything was served in single-use packaging: not necessarily plastic - so wasteful.

We had sandwiches, salads, and drinks at The Pantry. Everything was delicious! The sandwich was made on local bread and with homemade relish that was so good. The coffee was great ans there was a local juice that was very nice. They have breads and...pastries as well which all looked lovely. They even have scones with cream and jam. Definitely recommend! The woman behind the counter gave recommendations for routes to drive nearby and was generally very kind. If you're in town, definitely a great place to stop for a meal or snack.More

Following the cliff walk our visit to the Pantry finished off a beautiful day spent in Kilkee. We were welcomed by a young girl who made us the nicest cup of cappuccino we have ever had. Maureen made our day by preparing the most beautifully...decorated pavlova. 😉 . My sister and I will make a return visit again. Noreen and Margaret ☺️More

This place is not cheap but I’d allow for that given much of the produce is good quality and ‘home made’ - businesses have had an awful time and its hard to make money. But what I have a huge issue with is business’s being...rude and unfriendly. My visit here left such a bad impression that we won’t be back again (and we like to make a coffee/bakery a base wherever we stay on holidays) and it was clear that our lack of welcome/respect was not a one off and was from an owner/senior staff member - and this was an out of season/not busy day- I would be sad that foreign visitors might experience this.More

I adore the coffee in The Pantry - its the only place I will go now! Their sweet treats are beautiful and the shop is so well organised. It is a very busy spot so be prepared - items seem to sell out quickly and...choices are limited later in the day. I wont lie, I do suffer from sticker shock in there sometimes, it is pricey and I find that a deterrent. To me I would only be buying food there as a treat because the quality and flavor is there.More

Called in for breakfast- everything pre-made. Asked for Gluten Free Options and offered cold eggs in a bread roll. Pancakes served in a box - which were okay according to my son. Nothing special Went to Hollys next door which was amazing.

Sorry to hear we weren't able to accommodate you for a gluten free breakfast. We don't offer cold eggs in a roll, only gluten free sourdough with bacon. Glad to hear the pancakes were enjoyed. Kind regards, Imelda

We had takeaway coffee and carrot cake here on a rainy summer day. There wasn’t much of a selection of cake portions (loads of whole cakes and bread!) but the carrot cake was excellent- moist and sweet with a tangy cream cheese icing. The coffee...was first class and they had a full selection of milks (I had an oat milk latte). The whole cafe is now set up for takeaway and we will have to try their fish pie sometime! It would have been nice to have the option to sit in now that restrictions have eased for those who are vaccinated, but I understand that will be difficult for venues to organise.More

Stopped here for coffee and lunch while visiting Kilkee. Very impressed with sandwich and sausage rolls. Difficult to choose something to eat as there was so much on offer. Will be back.
