All reviews calamari brie burger soup off the beaten track great meal main course well worth a visit cooked perfectly generous portions lovely atmosphere lovely evening lovely staff campsite veg pub mains
Food was disgraceful, starters and main course was cold and it looked like it was pre cooked! Very dissapointing, considering it was a pricey meal. Would not go back again or recommend this place to anyone. Staff were friendly and attentive
Good we ordered looked like it had been pre cooked and reheated before serving, we all had different meals and not one was of a good standard. Staff were very nice! Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Food not great starters cold chicken wings only warm rubbery terrible. Main chicken chips mash and a bit of salad at the side not great . Everthing was just warm noting hot. Won't be going again . Service was very good and friendly but that...was about it . Never againMore
Had a beautiful dinner here on Saturday night. First timers - we were staying in Killaloe. It’s just a short drive and well worth it. Super atmosphere, great food and friendly efficient service. We could not have asked for more …. Perfect. Looking forward to...a return when next in the area.More
Came to the Pipers for lunch and had great food and great service. The steak sandwich was tasty and the mussels were very generous and really nice!! Service was 5 star, wouldn't change a thing and can't wait to return.
Found this lovely pub through a trip adviser search. It thoroughly deserved the good reviews. Lovely home cooked food in generous portions. Service was excellent and the pub was well done and clean. Glad we stumbled across it.
We have recently bought a holiday home on the lake and had tried some other restaurants which were not great to be honest.....the Pipers was recommended to us and boy is it fabulous.....we booked ahead for lunch...on arrival it was so cosy, fire lit and...the staff were so friendly....asked for our covid passes which was good to see....yes the food did take a while but that shows it is cooked to order...the soup was lovely and the bowl had been heated (a great sign of attention to detail), the deep fried brie was delicious and the burger my husband had was sensational......all in all a great little restaurant which we will gladly come back to again and again....thank you to the great staff for suggestions on local hikes and walks!!!More
I booked The Piper’s Inn for my daughter’s communion lunch and we had a wonderful experience! The bar and restaurant had a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu had a super selection of starters and mains for different tastes including vegetarians. It is rare...to see a menu which offers such a nice variety of mains that it makes choosing between options difficult! We were a large party of 27 adults and children but were seated appropriately according to public health advice in a private seating area. The food was delicious and came out piping hot and in a timely manner despite the restaurant being under pressure with a couple of functions. The waiting staff were very attentive and did their best under pressure. I would highly recommend this super venue and will certainly be back again!More
