Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Came by here during one of the many 6 nations games and what a place. Fantastic atmosphere amazing staff and great selection of drinks to be had at very reasonable prices. Certainly plan to drop by for a follow up next time I'm in town.

Consistently the best Guinness around. Warm welcome too and a lovely fireplace. Old world setting and that's part of charm. Mixed clientele always ready for a chat.

This man was so welcoming. Really made our trip to Clare. He showed us a small bit of kindness and allowed us to come inside with our small dog. It may not sound a lot but I'd found other people very un welcoming and was really disappointed in the hospitality we'd received in lahinch. But this really helped! After moving back from the UK where dogs are welcome in most pubs I'd been very disheartened by my return home but I have to say this man was great. Told us lots of places we could bring our dog for walks and I have to say, I'd recommend this place any time! Ireland needs pub owners like him :)

Visited Reddans pub while staying in Killaloe. This is a pub with a long history and favored by locals. The pints of Guinness were among the best tasted during our tour of Western Ireland. The barman and his patrons provided us with great conversation and counsel to our many inquiries relating to our travels of the Emerald Isle. It left us with a most favorable impression of its people and places. If you want to experience a "real" pub and the locals try this one!

Reddan's is a family owned & run pub on Main Street, Killaloe, the home of some of Ireland's best rugby players.
Dropped in for a pint and a bag of nuts. Met with Mrs Reddan, an elderly elegant lady whom was a fountain of knowledge on the locality. Is an old style pub with a roaring fire and a collection of winners coursing coats hanging behind the bar and amazing rugby jerseys framed outside. Join in the craic or stay to yourself, this is a cracker of a pub in the old friendly, familiar and welcoming way - a must to visit.

Love this place. Best pint of Guinness you will find anywhere. Friendliest staff, all Reddans, and lead by the fantastic Nana Reddan, in her 80's and still pulling pints. Great place t go on rugby days. this is the hive of the town on the weekend.
