Enjoyed a lovely dinner at Goosers yesterday. Very friendly staff and great service. Huge portion of fish and chips, really delicious, was disappointed I couldn't finish it! Lovely variety of desserts too. Really cosy pub and thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

We stopped off here on out recent trip to Killaloe but it should be noted Goosers is in Ballina It's a great spot for lunch - for something light the toasties looked great, something not so light the fish pie, the salmon... We've never had a bad dish. And the colcannon is fab. And a great choose of desserts too!!... More

Menu looked very appealing and the cosy stove atmosphere was lovely! Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there. Everything in the prawn starter (tasty) and burger mains (dreadful) was quite obviously straight out of a shop freezer. Save your money. You'd get a better cooked dinner in your local chipper (or from your own freezer)!

Having had an excellent meal a couple of weeks ago in Goosers, I decided to ring up for a voucher for my sisters wedding and actually ran into a totally different experience, in terms of how I was dealt with by the member of staff at the other end of the line. First off all the card was rejected, and... More

Had the Seafood chowder and the Lamb recently. I would suggest the chef taste the chowder before sending it out to the paying public as there is absolutely no taste of fish, very little sign of any in it and the soup was similar in texture to the paste you'd use when wallpapering. Very disappointing ! The Lamb was expensive... More

Any time I'm in Clare I love to Eat in Goosers in Killaloe. They have a great menu , especially fish dishes , but it's hard to beat their Irish stew on a cold day. The thatched roof, the wooden tables & the stone floor all help to create an unique atmosphere. The location is perfect overlooking the river Shannon.... More

Charming pub with above average menu and restaurant quality food. The food is well presented, hot and with more than enough for the heartiest of appetites. Friendly, chatty staff. The lovely log fire adds to the pleasing atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

We visited Goosers on a Sunday afternoon for lunch with our children. We loved it, the food was great, portions were big but also the quality of food was very good. We ordered one children's portion while having two children and they brought two plates so that each one of the girls will feel they have their own portion. They... More

I stopped in here with my extended family on the way to an overnight stay in Feakle. The portions here are huge. The stew is full of meat, the fish pie is full of fish, and even with a big appetite you'll struggle to finish them off! The service is very friendly and the decor is typical old-style Irish pub....
