Liam made us feel welcome in this very old and cozy pub. Tuesday traditional music sessions are a must!

On a recent one night stay in Ballina, we happened to find this real pub. There are so many "Irish Pubs" pretending to be "real" that, as an Irish person, I love to find the real ones, and this is certainly one of them. It...is now on my 10 Favourite Irish Pubs list ! It was lovely to be able to sit outside on a Summer evening. Staff were very friendly and the Guinness was first class.More

If your looking for a place to get a pint, Liam's is the place you will want to go. Ballina-Killaloe are right on the river so it's an easy walk around the towns.

Busy Saturday night in Ballina and this pub was ideal to round off the night. Great atmosphere, very friendly and efficient staff and great music - all the ingredients for a great night. When it was time to go home we enquired about a taxi...back to our B&B and one of the bar staff, a lovely local lad offered us a lift back. Would highly recommend this establishment!!More

Probably the best pint of Guinness around. Liam and staff are great hosts, and are always very welcoming. Open fire makes it very cosy on a cold evening. Trad music on Tuesdays. Great pub for some banter and a few pints. Highly recommend dropping by,...and soaking up the atmosphere!More

This is a great pub. First and foremost- Excellent Guinness. Friendly and very helpful staff. Watched Racing hockey Ulster. Sorry for Ulster but great rugby and good craic in a mighty pub.

Friendly people, great whiskey selection, treated like friends. My brother, who loves pubs, says that his evening here was one of the best nights of his life.
