Over in Ireland on holiday made a reservation for 3 arrived on time as soon as we sat at our table we were given the menu & a drinks order was taken soon after our food order was taken while we waited we were given...some nibbles that were described by the waitress as soon as we had finished those our starters arrived which were delicious chicken & ham hock terrine soon after our mains arrived I had the beef cheeks & my sister had the lamb both delicious we then finished with desserts sticky toffee pudding with Bailey's ice cream & chocolate cremaux again delicious we are coming back to Ireland in August & we will certainly be booking again.More

We had a fabulous meal here. Every single course was excellent. This is really nudging Michelin star calibre but with much more accessible pricing. I had the pan seared scallops with glaze bacon and chard cauliflower and my wife had a beetroot salad, both of...the stations were superb. I then had the monkfish with pork belly , Sweetcorn and scallions. and the combination of flavours were superb. The desserts were excellent in particular the cheesecake. My only quibble was limited wine list - a few quality bottles at the top end in the €50 To €100 range would enable the inclusion of some top quality wines to accompany it .More

My husband and I visited Letterkenny over the weekend and we made a reservation in the Lemon Tree for Saturday night. Everything about our booking was excellent, from arrival to departure, The waitresses were all so nice and couldn't have been more helpful. Our food...was excellent and we really enjoyed it. Absolutely exquisite meal!! I visited The Lemon Tree on Friday, 11th March with my Mum. It was our 1st time there & from the moment we entered the restaurant we just knew we were going to have a special dining experience. The restaurant has a...lovely fire which you can see as soon as you step inside and there is a lovely warmth and ambiance. We were seated very quickly, drinks order taken promptly and a complimentary appetizer of beautiful warm breads with smoked garlic butter and chicken liver pate arrived shortly after - without being hurried, the timing of all courses was perfect for me. Following on from that we had 2 further complimentary snacks each before our main Starters arrived. My Mum had the beetroot salad & I had the lobster ravioli. For the Main courses I had the duck whilst my Mum had monkfish. We finished off with chocolate cremeaux and panna cote. Every dish was beautifully presented and every single element of each dish was perfectly cooked and so flavoursome - full marks to the Chef and the kitchen team, totally faultless!! And if course I would have to complement the restaurant staff also who were very attentive, friendly and professional, 1 saw me taking a photo and offered to take 1 of us also. A wonderful dining experience that I couldn't speak highly enough of, I will most definitely be back. Well done to the Lemon Tree team! 👏More

Visited last night and from the moment we stepped inside we felt valued. The staff are lovely and friendly and oh my lord the food and attention to detail. The flavours and to add I’m ceoliac and 95% of the menu was suitable so I...didn’t feel I missed out. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.More
