Only ate in the Bar and not the restaurant. Seafood Chowder was gorgeous. Very friendly staff and a good pint of Guinness. Pretty small pub.

We was there three times and enjoyed our stay in August 2016. The service was good and the foods was very tasty. And the cidre, wine and more was it too :-). Thank you for your hostfriendliness.

Food and service are excellent, very popular so can be a bit hit and miss on whether you will need to wait for a table but it is worth the wait

There were 13 in my group and we stopped in for drinks. The people inside were very friendly and our drink order was taken served up with a smile. I was obvious we were tourist and the bartender was very pleasant. We had already eaten but food passing us looked and smelled great.

We went here because of favourable reviews, only to find just two choices on the lunch menu, burgers or fish and chips. It seems that the restaurant only opens on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and then only in the evenings. Fortunately we found a nice pub just up the road which fulfilled our requirements very well indeed.

This is a pub/inn in the village of Ballyvaughan in the unique Burren in County Clare in the West of Ireland. I think that it is due for re-furbishement but it is nonetheless welcoming and homely and the helpful staff take reservations. The food is strictly pub-grub but good and fresh and the service is friendly and welcoming. The Wildflower... More

We were here on a stop-over and got recommended this pub. It also has a restaurant section, where it's a bit more classy, if you like that. Food was great and reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly too.

Best food I've ever had. The humble hotel is a gem of a spot. Simple surroundings , the quality of food is just amazing. We re definitely coming back. We usually go to Kerry but feel that the quality and value in ballyvaughan is unrivalled. €89 for a dble room inc breakfast! The food is the Jewel here though..,locally sourced... More

This pub is now called the 'Wild Atlantic Lodge' and it serves typical pub meals. Service was average, as were the chicken wings and soup I ordered. Decent, but not the best I've had.

Visited here for dinner and drinks on our 3 day stop in the burren. We have to say we planned on eating and drinking in different pubs every night but after our first night we came back for the other 2!! The Guinness was perfect! And the selection of other beers and Irish lagers was fantastic. Food was good hearty... More
