Myself and my husband stayed at hotel on 20th of May2022 for 2 nights. We arrived at 8.30 on the Friday evening was giving a key to a room at the top of the hotel with no lift. The room was like a little box,...processed into the bathroom to discover POO in the bottom of the toilet. We had to wait 20 minutes to speak to the rude manager. They changed our room. Went down to breakfast next morning, breakfast was disgusting tea and coffee were held in flasks, which didn't work very well. The main breakfast bacon was burnt and dried up sausage were pink and dried up, it was on cold plates. That evening we went to restaurant, where we were sitting the wall paper was coming away from the walls, this is 1 star rating as for the extortionate prices they charge. A STATER that my husband had was a bit of cheese with a few leaves at a charge of €14.50. I had a crab cake and 4 prawns at a charge of 16.50. They had only 4 opitions for the main course on the menu.We didn't stay to have the main at those prices. The next day was the last straw the breakfast was even worse than the before. Bacon was dried and burned and some of the bacon was ale in colour. I have to say this was the worse breakfast I've ever seen, we didn't eat it we left. This hotel has very young people working here with very little experience. This hotel is charging outrageous prices for what you get. Hotel is very very old and needs major revamp, plus the manager is very rude. I would not recommend this hotel to anyoneMore

My partner ordered and ordered 2 steaks. Which was cold when arrived at the table. The waitress was argumentative say it was not possible. I approached the manager about my complaint. He also was argumentative saying he overseen the cooking of our steaks. We were...guests at hotel. Have stayed there previously and had a lovely. Hence we returned. Will not be doing again. The Quinn family owners should choose a Manager that is polite to their guests.More

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights recently. The room was quiet spacious and very clean if overlooking the back yard. I was disappointed in the service in the restaurant on the one night we ate there. The girl serving seemed to not have...our booking when we arrived even though we booked at reception that morning on our way out. From there she was over and back asking us were we ready to order yet we only sat down, it was quiet intimidating and irritating in equal measure. Other staff in the Bar were lovely and it helped to relax us. Food was very tasty and well prepared but the meal was affected greatly by this one staff memberMore
