We had read about this place and were excited to try it out. We shared one of their pizzas and it was amazing with lots of delicious toppings. The only negative was that the staff were not very friendly.

It’s my first time to visit Ireland... I am amazed how this lovely place has so much to offer for a first timer like me... On my way from Cliff’s of Moher, a famous tourist spot at Limerick I had a chance to have a...good sumptuous meal at Burren Fine Wine and Food at Corkscrew Hillroad, Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare. A quaint and lovely space owned by Cathleen Connel, who served me and my partner a very special lunch... spicy mackerel, herring,a side salad and polenta. It was the best meal I’v had. Mixture of the flavors and spices made our lunch very special. Apple cake and coffee cake for dessert and for the finale a flavorful cup of cappuccino. It’s an award winning cafe that has a beautiful garden. You can choose to dine in alfresco or enjoy the homey cafe interiors. You can enjoy the colorful paintings of Liam Moore. An award winner of the Best in Ireland in 2014 and 2017 McKinnes Guide and Bridgestone A place worth visiting, very affordable meals and homey space for a perfect meal.More

We stopped in here on our way back from Kinvarra and what a spot, couldn't have been better, the view, the food, the surroundings. We had a homemade pizza, side salad, kimchi and beef stew. Every thing was delicious, we can't wait to go back

I needed a break from Guinness and fish & chips so we stopped in. What a great find. First, the outdoor area is BEAUTIFUL! I am a sit outside and drink wine - kind of person so this speaks to my soul. Second, the wine...selection was great (and affordable!) and the food was superb. In search of wine and cheese? Look no further. Highly recommended from two wine-os!More

We're foodies who searched out amazing restaurants during 3 week driving tour in Ireland. THIS IS IT - THE BEST OF THE BEST. Its been joyously owned for generations of one family. Cathleen Connole is a fun, gracious host with lots of wonderful stories. They...grow, forage, and produce their own foodstuffs locally. Handmade - you'll taste the love. I posted photos of some of the most amazing dishes. Organic, farm to table, and committed to environmental sustainability. Oh and if you are really really lucky you might get to pat the gorgeous well behaved pups that live next door with Cathleen. With three weeks of special lunch and dinners this experience wins the BEST OF THE BEST. I wish I had bought one of the coolest art pieces on the wall too. The meal, the conversations, the wine!!! and the atmosphere will stay with you in your dreams. If you visit the Cliffs of Mohr, keep going past the tourist trap restaurants in the town and stop here. Its heaven.More

Had a great night of food, wine, songs and good company last Thursday and all for the good cause of helping RNLI Lifeboats save lives at sea. Cathleen and crew you made the evening the success it was raising €540 for Clare RNLI branch.
