Came upon these tea rooms on the way to Allwee Caves. What a find. A really cute cottage and gardens. We were in the conservatory area which is absolutely gorgeous. The service was very efficient and friendly. The tea and cakes were yum. There was...a gluten free sticky apple sponge cake that we had to have seconds of as it was so good. Highly recommend.More

Stopped in for afternoon tea and had a lovely open smoked salmon sandwich and delicious cakes (fruit cake and coffee cake). Great coffee too. We came back the following morning to get a takeaway coffee and great to see the cakes being made and decorated...on the premises. Beautiful setting and lovely decor. Would definitely recommend.More

Lovely spot. Very nice outdoor dining. Service very slow. While open sandwich was tasty it was massively overpriced at €9.50 with very little chicken and effectively no salad or garnish.

We popped in late afternoon for a coffee and cake. We had the lemon cake and coffee's to go which we had at the pier close by. It was extremely busy, but staff were excellent and managed all the customers. Will try the other cakes...next time I'm in.More

We had brunch here each day of our trip. The tastiest BLT I have ever had. We added a cup/bowl of soup. Each day the soup was a unique flavour and always tasted great. Staff are very professional, happy and helpful. They have been well...trained checking in to ensure everything is okay with your meal. We will be back!More

Stopped off in Ballyvaughan Tea & Garden Rooms today for takeaway salad & sandwich. Took almost 40 mins!! Lots of staff there & the place was quite busy but not hectic! We were left standing outside with nobody to check in with us or to...tell him us how long it might take. If we had known it might take so long for our food, we wouldn’t have waited. Or at least we might have gone out for a walk down to the pier & popped back half an hour to pick up our food. The waitress who served us didn’t apologise or let us know what was happening- Not even a smile to show they were happy to have our custom!! Nice food in a fab seafront location & the café itself is beautiful- MUCH BETTER SERVICE NEEDED!!!!More

Stopped here for some light refreshments during our visit to The Burren. Lovely garden at the rear, sheltered with beautiful flowers. Queued briefly before being shown to our table. Table was sanitised in front of us and all staff wearing masks. My husband and daughter...opted for coffee and cake. Generous slices of lemon cake for the hubby and coffee and walnut for my daughter. Both declared the cake fab. I had a lovely BLT on rustic sourdough. I opted for plain Mayo on it rather than the mango mayo on the menu. It was well filled with lovely chunks of meat and was really tasty. Staff were very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommendMore
