I and friends of mine went there during our Friday night. Took some fish and chips and garlic topping. The best I've ever eaten. Delicious!!!

Probably the beast traditional fish (cod) and chips of the west coast of Ireland! A must to be place in Galway

MacDonagh had fantastic food and super friendly (but not overbearing) service. The oysters were delicious and so was the salmon.

We loved this little pub. We stumbled upon it by chance and were so happy to sip pints and hear the traditional Irish music inside. They were welcoming!

Love this pub, staff are very friendly and a great pint of Guinness! Place is spotlessly clean, great characters at the bar, fine big smoking area, overall a great spot. Highly recommend a visit.

Excellent spot for a nice pint of Guinness! Within walking distance of Oranmore Lodge Hotel and plenty of character.

Very cute and well-worth seeing. One of the few Thatch Pubs. Inside not as interesting, but worth a visit and a Gunness. Live music Thursday nights if I recall.
