Recently ate here while passing through from Galway. I had the steak sandwich. Which was very tasty. My wife had the roast beef. The beef was very tough. But then again this was late in the evening. The waitress who was very friendly and accommodating changed the beef for a fresh plate. The fresh plate was a lot more tasty.... More

We were on a day of travelling and after leaving Galway, heading for Limerick, we needed a break. This place caught our eye and we went in. The food was good and the atmosphere friendly and welcoming.

Visited here on a Halloween bank holiday Monday and on entering the place it was well warmed and seemed cosy. We were seated by the open fireplace just beside the private dining room by a friendly girl. The food after ordering arrived soon after and having kids with us this was very much welcomed with patience not being our family... More

While traveling from Galway to Shannon this gem was along the route. Fine food, friendly staff, easy access for the novice driver to make a choice of stop or go. I am happy to say it was a fabulous decision. Positively the best lamb chops I experienced in Ireland and I had a lot while here.

Had a Sunday roast (beef). Service was friendly when I eventually managed to order. The beef wasn't the best. The mashed potato and fresh vegetables were good. It was a bit chaotic on a Sunday afternoon but the staff did seem on top of things. The food is very much traditional Irish fare. I would not be in a hurry... More

Called here while passing on my travels quite a few times this year, the staff are always very friendly and helpful. they always make me feel so welcome. I have food allergies and they are always very accommodating with this. The cod and salmon bake is always a favourite and well worth calling for this. Keep up the good work.

Nice atmosphere here, staff are very friendly. Bar food is simple but nice. It's on the main Galway/Limerick road. Lots of locals having drinks as well as food, which is a good sign.

Stopped in for some chowder and a pint after attending the Galway races with 4 friends. Service and food was good. There was live music on a Monday night. We stayed at a bed and breakfast which we could walk to located on raftery's way street.

Friendly service but the food was extremely poor. Dry and tasteless. Nice place for a pint but I would avoid opting to eat here.
