Cosy restaurant with quality food and staff

We were staying in the Nesbitt Arms and I went into the restaurant earlier in the day to book a table for later. There was a table in the corner I liked for my girlfriend and I however it was set for 4 people so wasn't sure I would be able to get it however when we returned later the staff had kindly set it aside for us! We both got steaks which were cooked perfectly and to a very high standard. My girlfriend also got some cocktails which were amazing. Food and staff were both brilliant would love to return if back in Ardara.

Amazing Food and Service - Highly Recommend

First class food and service.Seafood Chowder is to die for avd then 2 steaks.We were hadn't booked but where accommodated on a busy bank holiday weekend.

Decent, but uninspired

We did not stay at this hotel, but we had dinner in the restaurant. There was nothing wrong with it, it just wasn't very interesting. The service, too, was just ok. There really isn't anything else to say because this dinner was not very memorable.

Nightmare wait for food

With friends and family for a much awaited celebration meal. Waited forever for the meal to be served then told no naan bread was available for my meal… my Asian chicken curry had three pieces of chicken hardly a main course in my reckoning. It took forever to clear the plates (50 minutes) after our meal and I voiced my dissatisfaction with my meal. Others in the group had a reasonable meal choice but overall not a great evening. I would certainly choose another option in the beautiful town of Ardara if I were you, and I certainly will not be back anytime soon.

Worst sandwich ever

After six months waiting for a restaurant meal, this was a massive letdown. We ordered the Monte Cristo (which sounded like a club) sandwich and an open prawn and salmon sandwich. The prawn and salmon was average, marie rose sauce tasted cheap but it was edible. The Monte Cristo was disgusting. Actually shocking. Soggy French toast with chunks of processed ham and chicken with barely melted cheese. Couldn't even look at it, never mind eat it. Without a doubt the worst thing I've ever seen served up in a restaurant. How can you get a sandwich so wrong? Pic attached

Don't bother.

Ordered 2 pizza and side of olives. Never got olives did give them a chance to get them When finished the tasteless food was billed for olives. When refused staff not friendly Ate pizza because we were Starving Never again

Poor as it served us on Friday lunch then on Saturday we were told no as we were not residents so confused We certainly won't be returning there

It never came

We sat down for drinks nobody came out so I went in and ordered, 10 mins later a girl came out and asked for the order again, my friends joined us and went in and ordered there drinks, 20 mins later we stood up and walked out. 6 of us were there for drinks and food so would've spent a few bob if somebody was bothered to come out with the drinks, ah well!

Nice place . Sat outside due to COVID such a beautiful evening with the family for dinner. Friendly staff and helpful as my grandchildren have allergies they were very obliging to help

We had a very relaxing stay, rooms were nice and the hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff were super friendly especially Sophie who seemed to be on duty every hour of the weekend and always had a smile and went above and beyond to do what she could to help.

I was dighted to see some old favourites on the menu, chicken Maryland! My mum always ordered this when I was young , and it didnt fail to delight, fab! The sharing platters were a treat,steak went down well with hubby (rare) and presentation is a must for me,excellent, live music,a wee baileys or two and the staff were great craic! couldn't want more SARAH.
