After a great walk up and around Bray Head we were looking for some lunch and ended up in the Porterhouse. The food was great and service both caring and random. We had to witness the odd dropped pint, explosive!, and finding some wine bottle...More

One of the best fish and chips we had with a pint of Irish beer ( unfortunately not in news paper). Service is gentle and efficient.

Lovely comfortable pub on the sea front with great smoking area that's actually warm. Music is piped throughout on good sound system. Staff friendly and toilets clean. Didn't sample good food but menu looked great.

I have always liked the Porterhouse particularly as it was my local during my student days over 15 years ago. At that time the food was excellent and I have visited all of the Powerhouses at some point since then for food and drinks. It's...More

Some evening drinks with some food and a night of craic. Dropped in for a few ciders, a pleasant chowder followed with a few prawns followed by a bottle of white. Grand night.

Try the beer tasting, three types of beer. It is typically pub food, don’t expect refined food. The place has a nice terrace and when we walked around, it was the most attended place. Good for a stop after the cliff walk.
