We had a fab meal and dessert here. Decent sized portions and good choice of meals. The staff are very friendly and chatty. It's right in the centre of town in a Georgian building and theres a nice open fire too. Recommended.
We stopped here on spec, looking for an early dinner with our two toddlers. We got a warm welcome, good service and excellent food. My toddler devoured her vegetable soup and brown bread! It was a really nice surprise to get such good fresh fare...on a Sunday evening in January.More
We were recommended this address by the owner of the guesthouse where we stayed and have no regrets! The food was fresh and tasty, of good quality and most enjoyable. Though we had no reservation we were quickly given a table. The service was friendly...and rapid. We can recommend this pub without reserve.More
We ate in the hotel restaurant, and I can honestly say I had one of the best meals of my life. I ordered the savoury pancake and it was out of this world. My hubby had the fish and chips, and said his meal was...very good.More
