I booked Beffanis Townhouse as we came to Clonmel to cycle the Blueway from Carrig on Suir to Clonmel and what a treat at the end of our journey ! We were blown away by the friendliness , help and courtesy of all the staff!...Nothing was a problem and they provided shelter inside the building for our electric bikes which was mammoth for us ! We booked a meal in their restaurant which again was A1 and then to our room which was excellent in every way ! Lastly the breakfast was superb so full marks all round!More
Stayed in Befani's Townhouse with my two sisters after a gorgeous walk on the Blueway. We had the family room at the top of the townhouse. Great room, very spacious and we were pleasantly surprised to find 3, instead of 2 beds. We also dined...in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and there was a really nice tapas and wine selection. This is a great location for a visit to Clonmel, central to all the shops, pubs and restaurants and of course, The Blueway. Excellent breakfast this morning before we left. Tall glasses of freshly squeezed orange juice, beautiful fresh fruit and lovely breakfast choices. We will most definitely be back again.More
We arrived on time for our booking but our table wasn't ready for almost 25 mins which was a bit disappointing. Of course we were looked after with drinks orders in the meantime in the reception area. We ordered our food from there and were...then escorted to our table, puddles everywhere en route which whilst I realize the weather isn't their fault, you need to make sure that the pathway to your table is dry and not to mention safe! It was crazy!! Bring your wellies next time. Not safe at all.
Every single tapas dish we ordered (3 each for 3 people) arrived at the same time, this was totally overwhelming and not the usual casual, relaxed dining experience you expect with tapas. Not enough room on the table for all our dishes- dishes ended up cold as it took time to eat of course. Really need to space the timing out here guys- took away from the whole idea of tapas dining and the enjoyment of grazing!
I didn't really find the food authentically tapas style- none of the usual bursts of flavor or smokiness from some of the dishes that you expect like the bravas- just a bit tasteless- almost like it was mass produced and maybe not fresh or made on the premises- apologies if I am wrong here.
Staff were very friendly of course and attentive but all just a little underwhelming for us as we had really looked forward to the whole experience.More

2nd lunch this week in befanis, my children and I absolutely love the food here. Staff here are so friendly and helpful with children. Highly recommend to anyone and can’t wait to spend more afternoons dining here.10/10 on every aspect.
My wife & I visited Befanis for Tapas to take out last weekend. We weren't sure what to expect as we hadn't been there since we could last dine in & always go for their Tapas menu. We came prepared with our trays, cutlery &...towels as were dining in the back of our car. Food was piping hot & my wife loved the calamari & prawns as always! Trio of bruschetta was presented beautifully & mozzarella mini balls were devoured! We were given lots of extra mini treats & bread so had tapas at home the following day, compliments of Befanis. I would go there just for their Cannoli - my favourite dessert & my wife said it was the best tiramisu she has had. Cannot wait until our next visit!More
My wife and I had our first meal following lockdown here recently. We had high hopes before we went but we were not expecting the amazing experience we received. The outdoor area was immaculately decorated and made you feel like you were on holiday. The...staff (as always) were extremely helpful and seemed as happy as us to be there. The food, (we got the tapas deal) was divine and plentiful and the cocktails, an espresso martini and a mojito were of the highest quality. To top it all off the meal was extremely reasonably priced. I couldn't recommend the restaurant highly enough and can't wait to go again next week. Bravo Befannis 👏👏More
Depends what time in evening you arrive we got a space just across the road from it there is plenty of car parks one at back beside chapel and one on corner of road as you turn up to beanies hope this helps.
