We visited Catalpa last night for dinner. We were a party of four. From start to finish it was excellent the early bird menu is fantastic value! It's a two course meal and a glass of wine for €20. One of us didn't want the wine but wanted to order from the early bird choices so The waitress offered a... More

Lovely restaurant situated in the middle of town. The decor reminds me of a small little restaurant in France. The food is exquisite and menu has plenty to choose from. Ber and his staff are lovely and very helpful. Would highly recommend Catalpa

Eating on my own again whilst travelling for business. Hard to find somewhere decent to eat in this town but thankfully found this lovely restaurant. It has old world charm. Chopped red clay tiles on the floor, basement type setting but don't let that put you off. Lovely menu and the food and wine quality was better than I could... More

We had a lovely evening here. The restaurant itself is fairly small but that adds to the ambience. The host was charming and engaging. The food was extremely enjoyable... Minestrone soup was one of the best I have tried ... Definitely make this one of the places to stop off and eat if you are in Clonmel,

This little restaurant is full of character! It's stone walls and usual setting, it's really cute! Like a small hours converted! Food is lovely :) would highly recommend a visit for the character alone! Always busy so I would book in advance :)

Delicious food what ever your taste, from the homemade Ministrone soup with fresh brown bread, the hunter staek is cooked to your taste and there is a huge variety of pasta dishes to choose from. We regularly eat here and the prices are very reasonable, and Ber the owner is always on hand to checkeverything is ok
