I cant speak highly enough about this location for food, drinks and accommodation. The staff couldn't have been nicer from the moment we arrived. If you are looking for a place to stay in Waterville, this is it. Enjoy!

The fish sandwich was wonderful. The pub is very clean and the service was great. Service was quick and prices were good. Our waitress was very sweet and quick!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying in The Villa on a recent trip to Waterville. What can I say? The service was top notch - the new management (Fiona, Dan and their team) treat you like family. The accommodation is lovely especially if you...are a Kerry GAA supporter. Even if you are not - you will appreciate the effort that went into the room decor. The lady who served us at breakfast (Mary I think her name was) couldn't have done more. Topped up my coffee when she saw it run low and made a fuss of the kids in our group. Honestly, staying here was a bit like staying with family. I can't wait to return. WISHING DAN & FIONA THE BEST OF LUCK IN THE VILLA!More

Saturday we tried for first in our time living in Ireland this restaurant for lunch. It is now under new management but sad that we had passed and never gone in. Meal was just first class and if you are looking for a nice meal...good staff and comfortable surroundings take a look. Thanks Susan and Cindy BrowneMore

Three of us arrived to watch the Kerry v Tyrone semi final and we were shocked at how rude the blonde bar woman was. We understood it was busy and it would be tough to get a seat but it was the manner the woman...told us we couldn't come in. She also let others in ahead of us after telling us it was full. In comparison the pub next door apologised that they couldn't accommodate us and suggested some alternatives. We settled on the Waterville Inn up the road who were very friendly. I see there's another review with similar experience. I'd recommend not wasting your money here.More

Sadly, a very unwelcoming atmosphere at Micko’s. I understand that covid restrictions make things difficult but it’s not an excuse for being rude. Pity, as we visit this pub often.

We had dinner here a few weeks back while the kids meals were ok the lamb dinner that myself and my wife had was inedible. It was that tough that the knife would not even cut it. we didn't like the sauce that was used...but still did not disguise the taste from what I could only describe as tough mutton . the water bottle was out of date and had mold growing on the bottle. despite not being able to eat our meal we were still charged full price. we will not be returning .More
