I had the vegan jackfruit burger, which was really good. The only downside was that a salad was not included and had to be ordered seperatly. It's just the burger and sweet potato fries.

On arrival the bar was almost full and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. We were greeted immediately and seated. We were promptly handed our menus and told the specials. I had the Roast of the Day (Beef) which was presented beautifully and tasted out...of this world. The beef was cooked to perfection. My husband had the Cajun Chicken Burger which was excellent. My daughter had the Pulled Jackfruit Burger (Vegan option) which she thoroughly enjoyed and my other daughter had the seafood pie, which again resulted in a clean plate! Great price point. It was by far one of the nicest places we have eaten. I could not fault anything. Both food, waitress and bar service was top quality. We intend to make many more visits over the next few weeks. Thank you!More
Stopped for a quick sandwich and pint while waiting for my hotel to open for checkin. Delicious food and the apple pie especially was incredible. A quality lunch stop. Will come back if I’m ever passing this way again.
Cozy pub / restaurant with friendly staff and good quality food at fair prices yoy won't mind paying. Great dining option on the Ring of Kerry. My partner enjoyed the seafood chowder a lot. Our recommendation in Waterville.
I literally can’t recommend this bar enough . James, Andre and their team are incredible . We spent day 2 of our wedding in the evening time here and they are an amazing bunch , the food and service are impeccable . Don’t miss this...spot if your looking for fresh , locally sourced food . The fish and chips best …..I ve had .More
We stopped in here while driving the Ring of Kerry. It's cafeteria style for ordering- you order and receive some items at the counter and other items come from the kitchen once you're seated. Soup, seafood pie, salad, etc. and the veggie option- a jackfruit...BBQ burger with sweet potato chips. Definitely unique for Ireland! I appreciated the change of pace for vegetarian food. Nothing was spectacularly good, but it was a decent meal and pretty quick.More
Recently went into The Lobster Bar and the place was buzzing. We were served immediately and there was a atmosphere and great feeling about the place. I had the special of Rump of Lamb and it was literally 10/10. My wife had fish and chips...and said it was the best she ever tasted. Will definitely return.More
10/10 service and food. Had the roast of the day and the chowder on night one and returned the next day for a beef burger and chicken burger. Both times were an absolute delight. Guinness was so creamy and the local red ale on tap...from the mcgills brewery was very nice.More
Food was nice, however I was 40 minutes waiting for my main. The five other people at my table had all finished their meal by the time I had received mine. The manager gave me a 4 euro reduction off my meal and dealt with...the problem in a dishonest and unprofessional manner in saying ‘the salmon takes longer than the other mains’. He was not one bit apologetic about the matter and laughed about his mistake instead of being sincere about the issue.More
Stumbled across this pub whilst doing the Ring of Kerry. The staff were all very welcoming and couldn’t fault the food or drinks. Guinness was decent! Will happily come back when we revisit Kerry.
We enjoyed a fantastic meal and drinks at the Lobster! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There is a great atmosphere and the food was great.
The atmosphere is the one of an Irish pub not noisy with different areas which is why I believe there was no noise... The waiter made the suggestions and I did take the dish of the day which was just as described! My wife had...the salmon which was cooked to perfection. Excellent place I would fully recommend!More
