This is Irish hospitality at its best. Excellent setting , superb service. Attention to detail is great and both coffee and pastries are memorable. Commendable care taken re Covid. Don’t miss it when in Athlone as it’s one of the best in Ireland. Met three...of the staff and we were really impressed by all three. Spotless throughout .Well done to everybody. Thar barr ar fad . Téigh ann agus bain taitneamh as.More

I’ve been here several times over the years and the food is always great. I escaped from the kids and husband today to have lunch by myself, It was top class as usual. I had the goats cheese salad for mains and banoffi for dessert....The banoffi was gorgeous as was the salad. Staff and owner are all lovely. Will definitely be back again soon.More

Used to love this restaurant before COVID but don't know what has happened! Last month I had a disappointing meal and then again today myself and my mother were both disappointed. Her fish was very poor and I got a dried out tough burger. Very...poor quality for the prices charged. It was not busy for a Saturday like it used to be and I am not surprised. I used to recommend this bistro regularly but not anymore.More

Had a super lunch at the weekend here. Toasted sourdough with beef on garlic mayo, delicious. Crisp and tasty. Salads are huge and so fresh. Very clean and large upstairs make very social space.

Really lovely restaurant with so many options on the menu. Perfect for a group with different appetites. We ordered a mix of salads and sandwiches, everything was lovely. Goats cheese salad in particular was lovely.

Brilliant family lunch. Affordable with a large selection of sandwiches, wraps and hot food. The Mexican wrap was delicious, served with salad. We also had the duck pancakes which were absolutely gorgeous. Served with veg and hoisin sauce. Free refills on coffee is another bonus...too!More

Very expensive with very small portions. Food was good though, got 10 chips with my fish, my partner got 4 prawns with the prawn dish, complete rip off. Complained twice at the table and when paying waste of time. Social distancing 1 meter.
