Absolutly gorgeous place for food or drinks in athlone! Couldn’t praise the staff enough they really do go over and beyond! Fabulous little pub in Athlone, Ireland. The food was awesome we had Irish Stew and Clubhouse sandwiches. The Guinness was cold and awesome. Recommend this Pub for anyone wanting an authentic Irish Pub in a lovely Irish Town.

I've just had lunch in the Bailey and hats off to the staff, they are very pleasant and helpful. As well as being a pub and restaurant, they have accommodation and I heard the assistant manager offer ground floor accommodation to a guest who was...checking in, once he realised she had mobility issues. I thought that showed great initiative. Meanwhile, my own lunch was lovely and there was a great selection on the menu.More

Recently I was travelling to the West & decided to stop off in Athlone for lunch. we stopped at The Bailey & were greeted with a warm welcome . I opted for the roast beef with all the trimmings. It was absolutely delicious & would...melt in your mouth. we had coffee to follow & found the whole experience very relaxing. I have no hesitation in recommending The Bailey in Athlone for food.More

The Bailey Bar and Lounge was a very enjoyable experience. Food was lovely. Adult portions very correct but felt kids portions very too generous. Would recommend this bar.

I was so impressed when I went to the Bailey last Saturday evening with my partner. We were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, in particular Nathan, who escorted us to our seats and took our drink order straight away . There was...a fantastic array of food options but in the end we chose the Bailey chicken curry and the Spicy Texan Ground Beef Brisket burger. Both were absolutely delicious and bursting with flavour. We really enjoyed the meal and the ambience of this gastro pub . We will most certainly be returning in the near future. Good job guys !More

We selected The Bailey Bar as it seemed to be one of the only places in Athlone offering Traditional bar food. We were not disappointed with our choice. The staff we’re very welcoming and helpful, I choose the Stack em High Buger which a divine...and I decided to go for a dessert and had a chocolate brownie which was unbelievable, both were amazing. Visited this Fine Establishment Last week with some Friends to celebrate a family occasion .Luckily we had made the reservation in advance as the place was just buzzing (This is a very popular Pub/Restaurant with both the Locals and Visitors. On Arrival we were warmly...greeted and seated by a very Efficient Manageress and our Pre-Meal Drinks arrived very Promptly. Food was ordered and we all sat enjoying the Drinks and Lovely Atmosphere .The Food arrived within a very reasonable time and i must say it was just brilliant ,we all had something different and everything was perfect .
