Came in on a Monday afternoon to such a warm atmosphere - music playing softly in the background and a lovely welcome. The staff were so friendly and pleasant. The food absolutely hit the spot - couldn’t fault it! 10/10

On our trip to Oughterard we visited on more than one occasion for food and drinks. Couldn’t have asked for friendlier staff, food was exceptional! They even provided us with blankets and hot water bottles after a long cold and wet hike. We rate the...Guinness highly. Ps Powers is dog friendly!!More

We had the nicest day we could have ever asked for, for my daughter's Communion. As her big day was delayed due to covid we wanted to make sure when her big day arrived that it was special. Unfortunately with the time we are in,...it wasn't possible to have a big family party for her so we decided to have a family meal out and keep it simple. I called the restaurant & explained we had two small kids also one of which doesn't like high chairs.. So we asked for an outdoor table as Rory assured us they had outdoor heaters. We arrived to what I can explain was just a magical set up. Blankets and even hot water bottles were provided to us all, we were blown away with the kindness. This is one of our favourite places to come for food, and Rory and all of his staff are always so welcoming, kind and just makes us feel right at home. It will always have a special place in our hearts.More

Stopped by here on a Sunday afternoon drive. Random choice but what a great choice! Had roast beef, creamed potatoes and vegetables. Every mouthful was delicious. Great produce, well cooked. Staff professional and friendly and the place was delightfully decorated and spotlessly clean. There are...even luxury throws on offer in case you feel cold when sitting outside. Local artwork on the walls. It was just perfect. No more expensive than most other places, but the quality of the food and service was exceptional.More

Went for a drive in Connemara and stopped here for some lunch on the way back. It didn’t disappoint. Food was amazing. You have to try the seafood chowder. Lovely warm friendly staff. I will be visiting again on our next trip from Dublin.

Sat in a lovely courtyard and enjoyed a fabulous chowder full of goodies, a bowl of mussels and a very good open smoked salmon sandwich accompanied by excellent Guinness. Staff very friendly with a family run type atmosphere and efficient service. This will be our...lunch stop on our way to Clifden in the future!More

Superb food in a classy and cozy pub. Friendly and professional staff. We managed to have dinner a little later than the average closing time in Ireland. A must stop when in Connemara.
