Great Service, My 11 year old son had the burger and said it was the most amazing food he had ever tasted, we will have to call back one day for a treat. The food was great, we rang first and then the food was...made to order, so more like restaurant Quality. Its the perfect place to stop off if your on your way back from Connemarra heading towards Galway. The chef has lots of information for anyone wishing to tour the wild west. My advise would be to take down the number and ring when your about 10 mins away, so you can just stop and collect, great idea for hungry children. Loved it and will be back.More

When Dessie (the owner) saw that we had a camper van he offered the car park for the night and so we took advantage and had a great night. Good food, good pint and a good night’s sleep is the secluded and secure car park....Gate barrier ensures privacy from general public and location is off the main road so lovely and quiet. Very friendly staff and highly recommended byMore

Called in last night for the first but definitely not the last visit. Wonderful experience in every way. The food was great-- superb pizzas. Thin crispy base, caramalised onions and air dried ham. Yum. Followed by excellent brownies and coffee. Set up us up for...the long and stormy drive back to Tipperary. Dessie is a gas man and he has made a really atmospheric, bright interesting environment to complement the top class food.More

Stopped off in Oughterard, after a great day in Connemara. Found this cosy cafe just off the high street. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service from Dez and homemade fish and chips. Best way to end the day. Thanks Dez for your hospitality, we will be back...soon. Peadar and Lynn. Ps they even do B&B.More

We ate here (and also stayed at the BnB). Meal was great and staff were lovely. Got good advice about things to do in the local area as well. It was disappointing to see an incredibly rude table of customers next to us but the...waitress was polite and offered excellent service to them despite their behaviour.More

Superb host and lovely food. On our first visit we tried Irish Breakfast, scrambled egg and homemade chips for our kid. All flavours just matched together. So we came back to try a lunch on our next day visit in Oughterard. Just one word- Superb...👍🏻 Want to say thank you you host/chef of great and personal experience of local live. Thank you Dessie for all of that.More

This restaurant and take away are run by a truly entertaining local character who serves up good pub fare and pizzas along with a good story and local commentary. Worth a visit.
