We ate at O'Connells earlier this week and it was excellent from start to finish. The pub was busy but the excellent waitresses found us a table straight away and their service throughout was very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious - we had chicken liver pate followed by the Fisherman's Pie - and we never had to ask... More

I'm here at least once a week and I've never had a problem. The food is great (especially the wings) and the staff are very friendly and hard working (Dani, Luke, and Mel in particular). 10/10 would recommend!

Upstairs at O'Connells on a sunny day chowing on zesty seafood served by fun staff overlooking picturesque Howth harbour - all the senses are sated. Menu is extensive and caters for kids too, result. Love visiting this place.

Can't recommend this little gem out in Howth enough. If you enjoy homely grub (fish pie is a must) and a nice glass of wine/pint of the black stuff, O connells is well worth a visit- even just for a Sunday afternoon to soak up some live music. Overlooking the howth harbour, it's full of character and atmosphere- and the... More

A second visit to a well located pub restaurant. Great service from the staff but let down by the food and no water in the disabled toilets. Fish and chips, should have proper chips not french fries. Fish was good though. Portion of mushy peas not good enough and mean given the price, served as a spoon full rather than... More

Second trip here and it was as good as the first. Beautiful view from a comfortable place. On Sundays they have a traditional Irish music session 1ish. The music is wonderfully done. And the food is really good and reasonable considering the location. They offer a late breakfast all day ( a fry) and a late, lite breakfast that gives a... More

Nice place, with view over Howth harbor. A little expensive, not too much customer in October, so the staff could make more time for us. But all in all a place worthy of visit.
