Visited octopussy today, Friday 25th. We sat outside on the benches, firstly the waitress was excellent, very friendly and efficient. We had the seafood platter, chorizo bravas and scampi. The scampi was so delicious and light, the bravas were also delicious- the chorizo was very...pungent and tasty. The real highlight was the mussels on the platter, they were seasoned to perfection. Overall a delicious and enjoyable lunch, thanks a million.More

We had previously eaten as a walk in one Monday and thought it was very good so we booked table for 2or 3 for Sunday we called to say it would be only 2 and later to say we would be late due to traffic...on both occasions this was no issue and staff were very accommodating the food was amazing tbh we have yet to try a dish that was not perfect chowder is best ever and monkfish prawns and chorizo brilliant the service charge 10% is included which is unusual but I suppose counteracts the meanies who don’t tip will return soon and would recommend to all not fancy but authentic no fuss quality sea food tapas👍More

The place is very cute and atmospheric, we were there for 4.15 sitting and it was lively but not over busy I opted for the shellfish platter my husband ordered the paella We were told there was no Dublin bay prawns but that our respective...meals would be made up with other shellfish. My platter arrived with just 6 gambon prawns and a bowl of mussels. Not exactly a platter Not only were the Dublin bay guys missing but there were no crab claws either as described on the menu. It was expensive for what we got. ClareMore

Excellent quality. Great setting. Friendly staff. Rustic authentic lunch spot!! Returned for a second time as it was so good. Won’t be the last visit. Outdoor seating available in nice weather. Nice place for a pre or post Howth cliff walk!

Just finished having a late lunch at Octopussy's and what a real treat it was!! Service was excellent and the food absolutely delicious. The calamari was superb along with the scallops and we then decided to add the huge tiger shrimp after our food was...served up, nothing being a problem. Totally recommend a visit!!!More

Really good place, and fantastic food, have been there a few times, the service have been always good but today. I was having dinner with my 0artmer, having lobster, calamari, and white wine, all good but the bill included a cafe we didnt order and...10€ service charge, I have tried to ask about that but impossible, the waiter just said yes and thank you when asking about that so decided to stop complaining. So fissaponited for the 13.50€ extra euros charge.More

My husband & I had lunch here on Saturday while staying overnight in Howth. He had seen it when he was looking online for places to eat & I am so glad he did! Although bookings were necessary due to Covid, the waitress was able...to accommodate us with an outside table. We ordered the sharing platter of fresh king prawns & mussels in the most devine white wine & cream sauce, prawn pil pil, chorizo patatas bravas & plain chips. My mouth is watering thinking about them now! Do yourself a favour if you are in Howth & like seafood and go here, you will not be disappointed!More
