Busy at lunch time with locals ,a sure sign of quality. Excellent food, friendly staff, reasonable prices in attractive surroundings. The owner/chef has time to chat with customers giving them his benefit of considerable local knowledge. This gem is well worth a trip out from Dublin on the Dart but a reservation might be advisable.

We caught the Dart from Dun Laoghaire to Howth to finish our weekend and the finale of our eating was a perfect ending. Fresh fish perfectly cooked and served by delightful ladies who stored our luggage as we walked the pier. Excellent all round. Shame about the rugby!

Me and two of my friends wanted to have some dinner and this was our third try (walk-in) in the area.We had no booking and we requested a table for three people and we got offered a very small table in the corner which I wasn't happy with.I asked politely if we could get a bigger table and probably the... I went here with my partner for Sunday treat, and must say I love this place,we booked a table, which I would recommend. Was greeted and seated in a friendly and welcoming way, always busy, but staff are very helpful and friendly. Our waitress for the meal was Louise and she was great, service with a smile and friendly helpful... More

Visited today with some friends. Food was ok but I thought the mixed grill could have had a bit more fish as it was €21.95! It always amazes me i that fish is so expensive in Irish restaurants. The girls serving us were lovely. Think there were too few people working. It was very busy this lunch time.

We chose this place for lunch while visiting a couple of Irish coastal areas. This was probably the freshest seafood I've had. The chowder was delicious - loaded with seafood and not so creamy as to be heavy. For my main, I had their crab and seafood cannelloni. This dish was quite rich, but staggeringly tasty! I am sad that... More

Fish just excellent, lots of variety. Been several times and it never disappoints, if you're a fish lover then go here (but you must pre-book as always busy). Not fine dinning atmosphere but fine dinning food. Try Luxury Chowder ! (Meat is on the menu if a member of your party doesn't eat fish). Howth is a beautiful harbour and... More

I ordered a small Scampi of Dublin Prawns. I got 9 and a half prawns not that big but it cost a whacking €14.00. That worked out at just €1.50 a prawn. As I was in a hurry I did not bother to complain which I know was wrong. I should have complainerd but I also did not want a... More

Went here with family for lunch. Excellent service and delicious food. I had the crispy calamari and the prawns, both of which were very good (especially the calamari). A very nice locale -- it smells of fish and sea food, and the atmosphere was lovely. On the whole a great experience.
