Now, the west of Ireland didn't used to be the easiest place to find gluten-free food. The world still isn't the easiest place to find a bookshop that serves good food. So when we found the "Hungry Bookworm" we were happy bunnies! All the usual questions about preparation got all the right answers. And then. And then Angel came to... More

We stumbled across this charming café by chance and were absolutely delighted to have found such a gem. We enjoyed a glass of wine and a plate of delicious tapas on a Sunday afternoon. The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly and we will certainly return if we are exploring the area again.

The staff go out of their way in this little jewel of a restaurant. The food accommodates vegan veg and meat eaters. The dishes are so varied i was spoiled for choice. The ambience is wonderful and the staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to all demands.

our server, who identified herself a Lorna after she was repeatedly asked, showed absolute contempt and disregard for our well being. the food was bland, and surroundings more so. Avoid at all costs.

It was a very busy day with a large group arriving just before us putting stress on everyone yet we were welcomed, kept informed and offered alternatives where needed. Travelling for an extended time means trying (forcing myself) to make good food choices where one can so Super Salad it was. What I got was an unexpected taste sensation -... More

Evening tapas menu is fabulous. One of those menu's where you want to order everything. Ordered 4 tapas between two of us with side of chips which was more than enough and very reasonably priced. My favourite was the potted crab and the fish cakes were to die for!! Highly recommend this cosy comfy place for night out. 🍷

This place is beyond special! In this crazy, chaotic, stressful world we're living in, there's no better place to go. Sit back on a comfy couch, dine on sumptuous delights, chill out with a glass/bottle of wine and read a book. Thats right...there's books...a library of books! Alice and Angel are the perfect hosts. Food is to die for! Gluten... More
