Myself and my husband visited maggie mays for an evening meal. We both went for steak. I had the fillet and my husband had the T-bone. Both were beautifully cooked but I have to say my fillet steak was the nicest I have ever had. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We did not have a reservation and although... More

On a short visit to Loughrea we stumbled upon Maggie Mays. There is secure parking across the road. It was a cold rainy day and as soon as we entered it was a little oasis. The staff were friendly and professional. We ordered the chicken curry and the plaice. Both meals were prepared well and we throughly enjoyed them. There... More

Served promptly and plated clean and nice. Other friend had a stake. She was very happy with the meal and size of it! When we arrived place was pretty... More

We stayed in loughrea for my boyfriends birthday the weekend just gone and stopped in here on the first night for our dinner. The decor was very modern and warm. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The service was great and the chef was helpful in deciding our dinner choice. We had the fillet steak, which I would highly... More

Everything was delicious-- ordered the fish cakes appetizer both times I went-- they were soooo good. So were the entrees-- I got salmon which was the best I've had in a while. The waiter was super friendly and competent. Always remember: Ireland time is different. Leave your hurry at home.

We visited Maggie Mays on recommendation and it was great. I had fish and chips and the batter was light and crisp. My friend had chicken on a bed of mash with a creamy sauce and fresh veg. It looked lovely too. We were too full for dessert. If I'm back in Ireland I will definitely go again.

The food was great, couldn't be faulted. The service was TERRIBLE. Waited for over an hour for our plates to be cleared and they only were because I asked to see a dessert menu. Waited over 20 minutes for a drink. Really spoilt a great meal to be honest.

I ordered a steak sandwich and asked could the dish be served with gluten free bread instead (As they say they have gluten free options available) and was told they didn't do gluten free bread. I said that was fine could I just have the dish without the bread. The waitress had to double check and came back saying that... More

Recently had a meal with my husband at this pub. Food is always tasty and at a very affordable price. There is a wide selection of menu for everyone and the service is very quick and the staff are very accommodating to your extra needs. Always enjoy the relaxing atmosphere at this restaurant.

Thank karen g
