My wife and I were on a day trip to Kilkenny, when we happened upon this place by accident. Lovely range of chocolates 🍫 for sale, inclusive of chocolate to drink, which we both availed off. Very pleasant/helpful lady serving.

I have been to both the Thomastown and Kilkenny locations; I enjoyed the decadent chocolate brownie - so good - and a mocha (option of several different types of chocolate) - also delicious (high quality coffee and chocolate). We have also purchased a box of...the chocolates made in house and given as a get well gift. When in Kilkenny I like to sit at one of the cafe tables out on the sidewalk and enjoy my treats.More
I emailed Mary in hopes of getting a congratulations gift for newborn baby arrival-my friend lives near Thomastown in Ireland-I reside in Michigan(U.S.). Everything was easy-the chocolate cake, berry cupcakes, chocolate truffles, and other sweets were wrapped cleverly in a baby hamper(themed) and delivered, no...problem. Thanks you so very much Mary! I was able to "share" something sweet and from my heart from far away!!:))More
I stumbled by this place by accident and it is divine I got a hot chocolate with chilli and almond milk it was roasting hot and no clump of chocolate in the cup at the end. I bought the award winning Brownie too. This was...extremely pleasant and as moist as an otters pocket. They also had a selection of honeycomb, banana bread, coockies, bread and chocolates. They would make a lovely gift and their presentation boxes are very pretty. It's a big pity they only have four seats outside😞!!! This would be lovely for a date, not great for a crowd as no where to seat. Really nice for a chocolate treat and a slice of brownie. You could eat one to yourself defo as you are worth it but nice to share. I would go back her for sure. €4.50 for hot chocolate and €4.00 for brownie. But have high end ingredients and are both worth it no doubt.More
Cycling down Ireland on a very wet day. Truffle Fairy made great hot chocolate, served superb cake and we could not resist a chocolate to help us on the way A real find, definitely try the chocolates
I saw Truffle fairy at the market outside the castle. I walked over to the store and bought some truffles. I bought the sea salt and caramel. One truffle costs about 1 Euro. The lady at the store let me sample a 70% nib. I...bought the raw cocoa slice. The raw cacao slice has 3 layers. The bottom layer is 70% cacao bound with cocoa butter and toasted hazelnuts. The middle layer is 70% cocoa plus dates and Highband apple syrup as a natural sweetner. The top layer is origin plus cocoa nibsMore
Their chocolates are really really good but for me it's the brownies.... the best I've ever had, absolutely devine!
Stopped here on Saturday evening for a coffee before we got back to our hotel to get ready to go out. I enjoy a good Mocha, so I thought where better to get one - a chocolate shop. I was highly disappointed, the Mocha was...pretty standard. Weak coffee, and some chocolate pellets steamed with the milk. What shocked me more was the price, €4.70 (approx.) You can get a much better mocha, for half the price in other places in the town. Mochaland for example, had great coffee for less.More
Passed this shop on a rainy November day, it’s off the Main Street beside Ormond car park. Decided to treat myself cause the day was so bad. What a surprise got 6 truffles in a bag each one was just delicious. Flavor of each was...very different nothing bland about these sweets. Service was as good as the sweets just excellent.More
Located on a corner of Thomastown, this beautiful little shop and cafe is hidden. The chocolate brownie and berry muffin were to die for. The cappuccino and juice were served quickly and very nice. Great value for money and will definitely be returning when I...come back! Do not miss out!More
