Really good tasty food with plenty of choice and great value, lovely pub with a great atmosphere and nice staff. The beacon of hops beer is superb. Overall a great experience and even better at a reasonable cost. We will be back and would definitely...recommend as a pub to visit in Baltimore.More

It was great to be able to go into a pub again,as you can get a meal here as well. The food was good and we enjoyed our meal and drinks, reasonably priced and varied, definitely worth a visit for a pint or a bite

Firstly, I will address the food, as it was the highlight. It’s very clear to taste that the quality of ingredients used has not been an afterthought. Every element included in our starter and mains tasted delicious, would particularly recommend the tortilla chip starter and...the chicken taquitos. I will say that I feel there were elements from our mains that we’re missing, I would expect a bit more substance for the money. Cocktails were 10/10, would recommend - we had 3 from the menu, all exceeded expectation, well done. The service was not up to scratch. We consistently had to ask to be served, and had to ask twice for a drinks list and twice for the bill. Staff were certainly not rude, just felt they lacked direction and experience. If we didn’t gain the staffs attention, I feel like we could have been here for 3/4 hours instead of 2. We will be back to Baltimore next year and I think we will give this another go, as we feel strongly on the potential the Algiers Inn has and maybe another full year of open doors will help this.More

The atmosphere & decor created a lovely experience. The mussels were amazing along with the accompanying garlic bread. I would recommend the unique tacos , if you enjoy something a little spicy! The cocktails were delicious, and we even treated ourselves to two!

Really enjoyed our visit for lunch. Having read the menu before we visited, I was really looking forward to some Mexican food which can be hard to find around here. It didnt disappoint. Sat in a fabulous beer garden. Toilets were decorated beautifully. Tacos were...great as were guacamole & Meatballs. Service was fine. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit & would highly recommend.More

Where do I start here . Was recommended as we where staying in a B and B near. Arrived and got a seat . From the start everything was chaotic. We got mussels for starters . They were nice . Mains - mixed tacos -...struggled to fine meat inside them . Fish and chips , very basic . Wine was lovely bit you pay for it . The issue here is the service - or lack of it . No one comes near you to clear the table or take a drink order . We where waiting ages for drinks . And when we got a cocktail it was approx 15 mins wait - when we asked the waiter said it was a staff issue and no really explanation Everything was chaotic and bill was not cheap . To me over priced for all Would not be back at all unfortunately i couldn’t recommend it.More

Hi Paul, Let me begin by saying I am truly sorry your experience wasn’t up to your expectations. I will say, however, I cannot apologize for the quality for the food you received. First, I can only assume you are being hyperbolic when you say...More

Went to the Algiers in June and it was such a lovely experience. The margaritas were the nicest I've had in a long time, and I must say the fully loaded chips were divine! The service was great and we were well looked after. Lovely...little location and we will certainly be back. Good luck Algiers :-)More

I have yet to experience such inept front of house service .. waited over an hour for average food beside a table of drunks who continued to be served . So unless you enjoy bad service, average food and being overcharged .. don’t botherMore

The food and cocktails were delicious, and ambiance was perfect! The recent redecorating brings new life to the pub, while still retaining its original charm. Highly recommended!
