Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had been looking forward to visiting Cafe Townhouse for a long time and I'm so glad it lived up to my expectations! We visited for lunch on Saturday and while there was a queue, we weren't waiting too long. We were warmly welcomed in...and shown to a beautiful table. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I'm already looking forward to returning!More

Why haven't we visited before now! What a treasure. From the moment we walked in we were treated like old friends. The staff are the finest I have come across. The lunch was huge, delicious, tasty and prompt. The restaurant was very busy, yet nobody...was in a rush or being rushed. More than 5 stars required for all involved.More

The Fethard Historical Society chose to book the Townhouse Café for lunch as it came highly recommended by some of our members. We had a wonderful meal in a most beautiful room. The lovely Kate welcomed us warmly on arrival and the rest of the...staff were equally accommodating and efficient. We left replete and relaxed having chosen from the wide ranging menu which afforded generous portions, quality ingredients and excellent value. Definitely the perfect choice for our day out and a venue to which we hope to return. Five stars all the way!More

A truly stunning cafe in the beautiful village of Doneraile in North Cork. You will leave this establishment feeling like you have just discovered a truly unique setting. Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere and OUTSTANDINGLY stunning decor. An absolute must. The owners are extremely knowledge and...passionate about North Cork. An infectious passion. We enjoyed a tour of Doneraile Court also. A hidden gem with a fascinating history! Be sure to take a day this summer and visit Doneraile. You will not be disappointed and you will leave with a full heart and of course, a full tummy 😉More
