Just happened to stop in cobh on our way back from foto Island with the kids. Rang ahead and booked a table here and I'm so glad we did. We were greeted by the owner who was so friendly and welcomed us with a big...smile! We sat out the back looking over the harbour. The food was delicious. Wine was delicious! Reasonable prices all around. The kids meals were lovely too. Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant if you're in cobh and looking for a relaxing and enjoyable dinner.More

Food was nice , plates were cleared , had 2 pints of Murphy’s which went down well. Missus had 2 glasses of Prosecco went down a treat. She had fish and chips I had pulled pork burger and Cajun fries . No complaints with the...food, staff or drinks. Only small flaw was the price . €17:50 for a burger and chip that looked like it came off the kids menu. €19:95 for fish and chips. No mushy peas. Lovely views from the restaurant of the harbour.More

Stopped here for lunch on holiday Monday. Initially told by front of house that it would be 40 mins wait for food which I was fine with until he then said he couldn't guarantee it wouldn't be longer but couldn't say how long. As front...of house, you really should know your worst case scenario based on the number of covers you know are left in the kitchen. I decided to stick with it as I know the food reputation here is great. Once seated (indoors which ws nice as the weather was a little unpredictable), I could see that half the restaurant was full, and many tables already had their mains so I didn't expect the food to be too long a wait - which indeed it wasn't. It was however a good 5 mins before we were offered a drink and a further 10 mins to get the drinks delivered. If you think / know your food is going to be slow, get your drinks out to people faster!! I ordered the fish and chips and my mum had the burger. Both were good sized portions and very well presented. More importantly, they tasted amazing. We shared a bottle of prosecco. The bill came to £63 for two mains and the prosecco. Based on food quality I would say it was worth the money. I didn't leave extra for the tip as I felt the slow drinks service and the vagueness from front of house initially, let the customer service down. We also had to ask for our bill twice, once from front of house and he clearly forgot. For Cobh, this place is on the expensive side, and despite my niggles with the customer service, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.More

Went here with my wife and 2 kids recently. Not accessible for buggys/wheelchairs, have to go down steps to access restaurant. Food was okay, portions were very small and overpriced for the amount of food you actually get. Wouldn't recommend for a family with small...kids with a buggy or 2 and I certainly won't be rushing back.More

Everyone took the train. We were on a tour, but the train station is very convenient.
