The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the inside of the place is covered with all kinds of knick knacks as well as posters, signs, photos, etc. Of course there's a signed poster of Pete McCarthy's book too and even a pug (presumably not...the same!) as on the cover of the book. We ate lunch outside in the nice weather and the chowder and crab sandwich were good. This is a hugely popular place, with visitors from all over the world - loads of different nationalities. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient - no long wait to get a beer. They stop serving food in the afternoon, so don't expect to get dinner here.More
