Stunning view, spotless well worth it reasonable price. A walk of 5 minutes into town, lots to see in Castletownbere. I would recommend to stay as you have full view of the town and port. The owner very helpful and great taxi service if needed.

This is an excellent b&b, with a lovely relaxed atmosphere! We stayed two nights. Our host was the lovely Olivia who was ever so welcoming and kind, lighting a lovely cosy fire for us in the evening and serving us a lovely breakfast ,including by...far the best gluten free bread I've ever had. The b&b is very central too...you can easily walk into castletownbere within a few minutes. Will return here!More

Dennis, our lovely genial host, cooked us huge breakfasts (omelettes stuffed with tomatoes, cheese and bacon) each day and in addition made his own seed laden, squash and sweet potato buckwheat bread for coeliac visitors. It was so good that all the other non coeliacs...in our group grabbed slices of it to munch as well! He even wrapped up half a loaf for me to take away for the rest of my travels. This is a great place to stay- quiet and central and a home away from home.More

Super Clean, friendly hosts, good breakfast with fresh fruit, and quiet location right above town. I would stay here again.

Enjoyed a two night stay at Island View. Room was clean and comfortable with all necessities supplied. Breakfast was well cooked and well presented. Food excellent. Good coffee (and tea!). Warm welcome from the boss, Denis. P.S. Great to see bed linen, towels etc. blowing...on the high clothesline in the garden. Also tolerated four women having a very leisurely chatty breakfast.More

Superb breakfast. Very comfortable room and common areas. Owner/operator is a lovely gentleman. Perfect location at the top if a hill with great view of town.

We were very impressed with the quality of cooking . One could say - it was really the best home cooking quality. The gentleman who is the host is very well organized, pleasant and hospitable and the service is great.
