Ordered two paella’s to take away 40 Euro for the two .At this price was expecting rather a lot .Not so .One large prawn three or four mussels and little other marine life evident .Not tasting vey fresh either .Castletown is awash with great food...places sadly this is not one of them .Elsewhere is better .More
We only found this as it seemed to be the only place still serving food after 9PM on a wet Sunday night. Even with the lights on we were not sure it was open. However, it was and we were very glad we went in....The food was excellent with surprisingly large portions for tapas, possibly because it was late on Sunday, and very friendly service. When we visited they were still waiting for their alcohol licence so bring your own vino.More
This restaurant is a gem. It was quiet tonight but should be packed! Great selection of tapas. We had hake, haddock and chicken for mains and all were perfect. Don't miss a trip here if you're in Castletownbere. A great.
Best place for food in Castletownbere. Great selection of tapas and main courses. Desserts are also fantastic. Would highly recommend.
Place was busy with Spanish locals...which is a good sign, food was prompt and very good. Apparently you can bring your own wine etc.
My friend had the hake and I had the grilled squid. Both were excellent, the chef clearly knows what she is doing, and we will definitely go again
This restaurant is very unassuming from the outside ! But wow does it make up for it with their food ! Probably nicest monkfish I have ever had ! My husband had tapas which was equally fab ! A real gem in the town .....you can bring your own wine ..the waitress was so friendly and her recommendations were spot on .. I cannot wait to go back ! The owner is such a friendly girl . Food just cooked to perfection .. amazing .. well done TrebolMore
Cycling with friends. Came here for dinner. Spanish omelette to start. 3 decent slices. Hake main. Boyfriend had monkfish curry. The seafood is so fresh and the sauces full of flavour. 4 very happy eaters. Stayed for dessert we liked the place so much. Don't...be put off by the modest shop front. You'll not be disappointed.More
Have gone multiple times with my mum for lunch. Excellent value and delicious food. Seafood in particular is great, my favourite is the haddock cooked in olive oil and garlic. They’ve other options as well. The chicken cordon bleu is so tasty and made from...scratch. They also make their own french fries, be sure to have some.More
Really Spanish food! The fish is the better in the town.,if you are Spanish is a good place for feel as in home! If you are not Spanish is a good opportunity for taste all the delicious food of this country.
Really good food, good service. Bring your own booze, SuperValu or spar very near the restaurant to buy wine or bring your pint of Guinness over from Macarthys, they really don't mind as long as you return your glass.
