Really good food but will never return because of how the staff are treated by the owner. He was laying into them for over half an hour for a mistake they made and it was so uncomfortable for everyone there. Many customers were noticing and...he just kept going, so awkward. The two girls had really good customer service as well. I'd advise them to leave the job asap it's never worth it to be treated that way.More

Absolutely untrue! I have never Emotionally abused anyone and this anonymous accusation is extremely unfair in my opinion. We as a team we discuss the service at the end to determine how we can improve, this is constructive . You hear what you want and...More

Nice coffee but they don’t adhere to covid regulations. Witnessed a customer come in who didn’t have a covid certificate and was simply asked if they were vaccinated by the member of staff behind the counter so didn’t provide any evidence of vaccination status and...was allowed to sit inside. No baby changing facilities either, I had to change my 8 week old baby on the floor in the bathroom. Thankfully I had a changing mat with me but the floor was dirty and covered in bits of toilet paper. What kind of establishment doesn’t provide a changing table? All in all, a very poor experience.More

We were definitely drawn to this cafe because of its great location in an alleyway, which was very clean and well kept. We also really liked the canopies overhead and the external wall paintings which gave it such a great vibe. Our visit was on...a Friday morning which is Market Day in Bantry, We ordered coffee and scones. It was fine but not brilliant. No cream with the scones, the butter was some strange brand, and the lam pots were rather poor in that they were very small and it did not look or taste like good quality jam. Personally we would rather pay a little bit more and get better quality butter/jam/cream. However, having said that we really liked the vibe of the place and would go again because of that. It was very reasonably priced. Service was good.More

Visited last week with family. Sat outside and realised immediately that this might be a mistake. the tables weren't cleaned of previous users rubbish, never mind any thought of Covid 19 but my 9 yr old wasn't for budging . Place absolutely bogging. Even saw...cutlery sitting on floor close to toilets which were zero zero standard. Ordered coffee which they didn't have, defaf only, went for hot chocolate which was mildly warm and watery. Clean your act up. No excuses for filthy establishment. You are trying to be shabby chic and trendy but fail miserably. Sorry for review but when it's good you'll get a good review. Staff were at least friendly but out of their depth. Past sell by date by far and no excuses of being under pressure over summer. Made a point not to forget to review this place, my first real negative in many years of positive reviews,More

Beautiful food with even nicer staff. Lovely to see people who enjoy and want to be in their jobs. Covid has been difficult on businesses and it's great to see it hasn't dampened this cafe's spirits!

Nice menu, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Eggs on the menu are all listed as scrambled or fried, but we asked for poached and that was not a problem for the Frogs' people at all. Recommended!

Terrible experience here. The coffee was great that's about it really. Bald arrogant man in his early 40's treating staff in a very ill mannered fashion. Desserts tasted like a fridge, obviously kept too long. Waitress acting like we were intruding until the bald man...showed up then her attitude quickly changed. Another coffee shop up by the library (can't remember the name) much more pleasant experience with tasty desserts.More
