What a gem and a real find. Fantastic food beautifully prepared and cooked. The mussels and chowder were some of the best I have ever tasted. The location is to die for and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Sea food chowder is great, fish and chips are, well what can you say about fish and chips - tasty. Have nice little playground for kids with outside seating and service. Staff are friendly and attentive. Views of bay are nice!

One of very few restaurants in Durrus. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. If you are in Sheep's Head area you have to go to Arundels

THE most seafood I ever saw in a chowder - tasty Crab Gratin with a crisp salad & two creamy pints of Gunness. Lovely pleasant and smiling waitress, prompt service and very reasonable prices. Delicious all round. A must.

The Arundel looks OK from the outside but is on a busy main road overlooking the Ahakista Pier. It was closed when we stopped.

Great little pub restaurant on the sheeps Head peninsula. Been here a couple of times and I’ve never been disappointed. Lovely food and staff. Will definitely visit again.

First visit to this charming pub restaurant after a drive around the beautiful sheep's head peninsula with its stunning scenery. Would recommend the sweet perfectly cooked mussels in classic cream sauce , full of flavour and yet not heavy or overpowering. Crispy on the outside...More

Great wee country pub that serves good food day and night, with a quaint upstairs restaurant, you may even be lucky to dine in the presence of Graham Norton!
